31 weeks today. Slightly worried!

Okay so last week I was a model for this free ultrasound screening and they happened to tell me my baby's head measured two weeks larger. But at my 17 week scan it didn't? I'm very concerned about the possibility of why it's measuring two weeks farther hopefully I get some answers tomorrow.

Some kids just have big heads.  Just like some adults have big heads.  it's a bummer to think about pushing out a giant head, but most of the time this is not a concern, unless other red flags are noted.

 

Additionally, it doesn't sound to me like this ultrasound was done at a doctor's office - so i'd take anything they had to say with a grain of salt.  Even medically trained ultrasound techs are off in their measurements frequently.  i know lots of women who were told they were "definitely" having an 8 pound baby when the kid came out at just over 6lbs, and the other way around.  The later you are into the pregnancy, the less important the measurements become, because there isn't as much of a standard size as there was early in pregnancy (when dating ultrasounds are done).
