im due June 5 and the time is dragging. To make it worse I have already developed those annoying inflamed veins in the land down under! Is anyone else experiencing this? They are horrid. I thought I had some time until these came like uh after birth.. But no, I'm currently super pregnant and now I have to deal with this! The agony! ):

Yep - they have struck here too! I take a colace every day and that helps make things less painful during the going times. It's even worse being on bedrest bc I am constantly sitting. So ready for this pregnancy symptom to be gone gone gone!

Go ahead and make fun and point fingers, I have a giant "skin tag" after a hemrroid was so vicious in my FIRST TRIMESTER. Don't want to have it removed until after birth in fear I will get another. The nastiest thing I have ever had to deal with in my life lol I hate it.

Yep, those damn things are nasty-- painful, itchy, and gross! I use an over-the-counter cream that works wonders.

I had to get a swab for a yeast infection and my doctor, without warning, touched them! SHE TOUCHED MY HEMMORHOIDS!! I almost died of embarrassment. I mean I stopped breathing. I realize she sees this stuff all the time, but I am a very private person. All she said was, no wonder you don't want to have sex lol. I almost died on that table that day. My poor husband was in the room, too haha. These suckers can go away annnny time now.

I am so sorry, but I legit lol'd how mortifying!

Also, I second the witch hazel thing - that stuff is amazing. I had one particularly bad spot a couple weeks ago and when I was at my wits end with it I stuck a witch hazel soaked cotton ball to it with a bandaid and by the morning all I felt was sweet relief!

I have no idea!! I didn't even complain about them! I knew they were there, I was managing them on my own and they aren't painful for me. I don't have the guts to take a mirror to see them myself, but I have to assume they look pretty scary lol.

So wrong what happens down there !! They make Preparation H wipes .. And those are great .. Also if anyone is into essential oils.. Geranium , cypress, and lavender on a cotton pad work well for relief ... Y'all are crackin me up on here !!

I'm getting a good chuckle out of this! Yet I'm stumped... How do you get a bandaid to, um...stick... in your butt?!

@OnWayto3 lol well...it was, you know, to the side a bit so I just positioned the band aid the long way and crossed my fingers! I have kind of a big butt so that may have helped? You know, deep cheeks and whatnot...hah...and I went straight to bed, too, so I'm sure the lack of activity helped.

Oh gosh, this is awkward...I guess now's as good a time as ever to start preparing for the "no shame" element of labor and post-partum, right?
