I want to be a stroller snob, but I haven't quite convinced DH yet. My Trevi will have to do for now. I personally can't stand the ugly prints that Graco has, I have on seen 2 I like.
I PPH my Bumbleride Indie Twin. Seriously, it rocks, even though it weighs like 35 pounds. But I really do love my Double Snap n Go, too. It is just way too easy for quick trips.
I adore our Mutsy stroller. It's from Holland & looks a bit like a bugaboo. I also just bought my mom a graco metrolite off someone from the bump so when she has DD at her house she has something. I don't think it much matters what anyone else has... as long as you are happy. Why would you care if someone "needed" an expensive stroller... don't you have other things to think about?
I don't see the point in wasting so much money on something like that. I must be trash.
ditto. that's money i can put in his college fund instead.
You can use that rationale on anything...doesn't make me regret spending a single penny on our stroller. I use it daily and I am really glad we spent the money on it. Her college fund won't suffer because of it.
I have a graco stroller, but it's one of those bigger ones with the infant carrier and stuff. We didn't buy it. It was a gift to us from my family. It's useful, but DD is getting a might too heavy for the infant carrier part (her 16.5 lbs + 10 lbs for the carrier = ouch on my back).
team trashy graco mom! I use mine maybe once a week (less now that its so cold outside) i used the graco stroller snap in frame with my infant seat and LOVED it. totally lite and easy to always keep in my car so i always have it & plenty of room in the basket. i am really glad i didn't spend more money on something else. i'm sure the expensive ones work great but i never used them so i don't really know the difference and mine worked good for me.
now i have the combi wasabi and i love that too. pretty inexpensive comparitively but imho better than a reg umbrella stroller.

I agree...I live in a snowy area and those plastic wheels are terrible in the snow. I use my graco carseat with my jogger even though they don't match, hehe.
I have a Graco carseat. We checked out all the research and the Graco Snugride got some of the best marks - that said, I HATE it!!! Poor Jack looks so miserable in it and I really regret not spending the money on a Peg Perego, which also got great safety ratings. As Jack gets heavier, the Graco feels like it's going to break.
I've decided to go with a Recaro or Britax when he outgrows the Graco.
I am a stroller and carseat snob. I think graco carseats are so cheapy feeling, I wouldn't trust my babies life to them.
certainly entitled to your opinion but i, like a lot of other parents, trust our baby's life to them everyday after we researched (BB and CR) and found out that they got THE BEST saftey and consumer ratings

:giggle: in about an hour my mom is gonna take my daughter from daycare in her graco safeseat and put her into her ford focus and bring her here to me at work (where i will put her into my saturn and take her home) guess trash runs in my family
Re: maybe i'm a stroller snob...
I agree....but I really love your siggy!
Nope. Stroller snob.
Snooty biatch! JK.
I'm a reverse stroller snob. I get annoyed when I see people pushing $1000 strollers. Like they "need" them or something.
I am a total stroller snob. I love my Orbit. crazy to think that it annoys others, but what the hell....
So Tasty, So Yummy
It's called stroller envy :P

I am glad I'm not completely alone in my snobbery!?
LOL, you and me both, lady!
Nope its called money spent better elsewhere! Simply bc I prob use my stroller maybe 3 times a week.
ElizC
just buy it and he will love the difference!
?
I don't see how it is wasteful to buy something that works well and is easy to use.

if you get annoyed at people pushing $1000 then it's obviously stroller envy!

i forgot how fun (and quick ) this board is!?
