Still getting contractions! They don't hurt, but are definitely more uncomfortable then they've been in the past. And my boobs are leaking at night. I don't have a sleeping nursing bra yet so I'm now thinking about getting one and wearing nursing pads at night. Of course we haven't recovered from paying taxes yet, so buying a bra is not something my husband is instantly going to be on board with.
@Mommaswizz I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your furry sibling. I know the pain all too well. We lost our pit bull last June and we still are sad about his passing. I still cry about it at times. The pain is real and deep because they leave paw prints on our heart. Such sweet creatures. Sending you hugs today.
I will take all the hugs i can get! I've read the rainbow bridge poem more times than i can count in the last 24 hours. I really appreciate the support!
I love that poem. It makes me cry every time I read it. I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope the pain get easier, but you never forget him.
@Mommaswizz one of my favorite book series says of those who have passed on that they have 'entered the clearing at the end of path'. To me that brings to mind a grassy meadow, with trees all around sighing in the breeze, and the sun that perfect warmth on your skin, so that you could lay back and watch the clouds pass, or take a nap. It helps me to imagine that, maybe that thought will help you as well. I know pretty much everybody - pets and people - like to take some lazy time in the sun on soft grass. Or (for our pets), romping in the grass, chasing butterflies and rolling among the flowers. Thinking of this helps to put me at peace.
@aliciac2008 still contractions!? Wow. Is it possible that you could have that 'irritable uterus' that some others have posted about in another thread? I seem to remember you spoke with your Dr about it and they weren't concerned, which is great, but hot damn - could they give you some ideas for comfort?
Haha, ya, I'm still having contractions. I'm thinking about calling my doctor, not because I think I'm going in to preterm labor, but to see if there's something they can do to make them more bearable.
I sound like a broken record, but changing for bed, both DH and I were shocked yet again at how much bigger belly is since this morning/yesterday! The pace is mind blowing, and I still have ~6 more weeks. Yowza!
By 3pm I am a complete grouch & need MY bed & a snack. If not, please beware. My back pain between my shoulders is getting worse, & now hurts at school. Thankfully, made my (OB approved) chiropractor appt for next week!!!!! Can't wait for that!
Is anyone else having random tummy troubles during the day? I find that my stomach is very sensitive lately, with that urgent discomfort feeling at random times.
I'm usually nauseous and/or heartburny, but this is a new one this week.
Between BH, nausea, diarrhea, and intense nesting urges, I don't know what to think about when I'll actually pop.
I think by the time I actually go into labor, I won't realize the difference between a 3rd trimester symptom and a sign of labor, unless it's crazy-glaringly obvious.
Yeah I am now having random bouts of nausea and "gurgly guts" for lack of a better description. Annoying!
My ankles and feet have swollen up a bit (welcome to 34 weeks?). I wasn't even the one who noticed it. A coworker noticed it. It's been warm and humid today and I was on my feet a lot so maybe that's it. All the ladies in my office immediately made me sit and prop my legs up and drink some water. That seemed to help. So hopefully it's just a sign that I need to slow down a little at work and if I slow down then perhaps that will help.
Still dealing with allergies. I hate not being able to breathe!
Is anyone else feeling just a pressure overall when they stand up? I thought it might be Braxton Hicks at first, but would those just go away immediately when I sit down?

This made me smile, thank you. I think as long as there's a big bed in that field, my Killian is a happy gentle giant.
@Mommaswizz I'm so sorry about your dog. Our dog was really sick about 10 weeks ago and between that and the pregnancy hormones, I was a complete mess. I can't imagine how you're feeling. You'll be in my thoughts and I love what @mellymar said above!
You guys...I'm pretty sure I have a hemorrhoid. I want to crawl under a rock. And to top it all off, tried to have a conversation with DH and it turned into a huge fight. Needless to say, I'm super sad and feel like sh$t.

I'm sorry you fought with your hubs and feel down. Tomorrow should be a better day. Try to get some rest and after you both have had a nights sleep hopefully you can meet in middle, or have a more reasonable discussion now that crazy emotions have blown over. Hugs
I've been so nauseas since the start of 3rd trimester, at least 3 weeks of it now. Now I'm actually throwing up once or twice a day but mostly its just a low grade nausea all day and nothing really helps. Sugary drinks perhaps a little bit. Otherwise I've been lucky to feel really good this pregnancy, I almost wish I had some other ache or pain that would take my mind off it. Does anyone ever start meds for this so late in the game? You'd have to be really sick all the time, not just low to medium grade nausea I assume?
Hemorrhoids/veins - just don't look and deny, deny, deny. They'll go away after pregnancy and we can pretend they never ever existed. Who me? Varicose veins? I don't see any. Never had 'em. Spider veins? Nope, none. Just keep it going, deny, deny . . . and whatever you do no mirrors to the nether regions.

Yes, there are different doses and types of nausea medications that you can take at this stage, especially if you're unable to eat and having trouble getting hydration and nutrients.
You don't have to keep a steady flow of medicine in your body like the more intense cases or early cases out there. You can treat your nausea as it comes up.
Talk to your doc about your discomfort and be adamant about requesting something to help if you desire it.
Thinking about you! Persistent nausea is terrible.
I am 32 weeks and have this weird burning, stabbing pain that goes up my lower middle belly. It stops before my belly button. It almost feels like a vein. But I don't feel on there. Anyone experience this type of pain?
