Yelling/ screaming baby

My daughter is almost 8 months. She does a lot of yelling/ screaming as her form of communication most of the time.
She isn't necessarily mad she just likes to yell especially when she is excited or wants attention now lol
I'm worried though because she isn't making any consinent sounds like mama dada baba. Is this normal? She is my first. Thanks!!

I am pretty sure it's normal. I am a FTM and my daughter is starting that also but they are trying to find their voice and what reactions they can get from us

My LO is doing the same thing lots of screaming. He makes like of sounds but the majority are screams and he hasn't said any words yet.
