Baby won't sleep!

My 9 day old baby just wants to eat CONSTANTLY and will not sleep!! He's already back to his birth weight so he's definitely not starving or anything. He's been up since 7am and now it's 3pm and no nap yet. I'm losing my sanity. Anyone else??

I hear this is totally normal! And as long as babe is getting milk it's establishing a really good supply early! It's all part of it good luck! Have you heard of the book the baby whisperer? Worth a read!

My almost 3 week old has days and some nights where she cluster feeds and doesn't sleep. For her, it's definitely comfort feeding because she's gassy and uncomfortable. I do all I can to make her feel better (burp her, put her on the swing, hold her). Luckily it only lasts a few hours and she goes to sleep. All part of the newborn phase. With my last baby, it lasted 3 months. Hoping this one won't be as long.

My doctor told me this is normal (my 2week old started this at about ten days) and she told me that babies start a growth spurt between ten days and two weeks so all they do is eat.
