I have heard of PUPPP rash. Though it is most common in 3rd tri, it can appear at anytime. Check with your doctor and they may be able to diagnose/recommend. Click Here for the link about PUPPP's rash.
I have one but only parts of it are super itchy, looks like pupps, but like pp I've read it's normally seen later, but I have a derm appt on Tuesday. It's really uncomfortable to wear a bra bc it's right beneath my chest and along the sides of my boobs
I broke out in a rash this afternoon (after the doctors office closed, of course). It's on my back, small & bumpy and not really that red. It itches a bit but nothing crazy. Anyone have anything similar? Any advice as I wait until the office opens tomorrow?
I have never heard of this, thanks for the info! I did get a rash a couple of weeks ago all over my belly but attributed it to heat rash. It wsa somewhat itchy and went away after a few days.

Did you ever figure out what this is?? I currently am having the same issue... Can't figure it out for the life of me.

Could be a yeast infection or a friction burn from your bra?
I have had a rash on my appendix scar for about 3 weeks now... I freaked out thinking I was going to have PUPPPS take over my body but it has stayed just on my.scar. it's very itchy and the only thing that helps so far is coconut oil.
Mine ended up being a skin condition that I've had, it just never ever had manifested so itchy or bumpy (mine is Hailey Hailey), and they confirmed with a biopsy.
@Ceridwen77 I've got it on the top of my belly at the moment but with my last pregnancy I randomly came up with a rash like that on my back. It looks similar to heat rash but less red and quite intense. By the time I'd got to the doctors it had calmed down a bit and I was told it was just "one of those pregnancy things".They prescribed me an antibiotic cream to help clear it, but it ended up going on its own eventually, I just had to have cool showers in the eve to stop itching and wear loose clothes.
I had puppps during my previous pregnancy with my son and although it started out mild and more of just a raised rash it quickly became one of the worst things I've ever dealt with. I fortunately did not develop it until around 33 or 34 weeks but I read that many women that had developed it much much earlier in their pregnancy.
I hope no one in N15 has to deal with this annoyance

Thanks for the info! I talked to a nurse today and she said it was probably not pregnancy related and they would only be concerned if I had other symptoms or was in my 3rd trimester. So as @VexyMommy mentioned, they said I could take benedryl (it's really not that itchy, fortunately), and if it gets worse or doesn't go away to see a dermatologist.
@Ceridwen77 hahaha brilliant that we got completely different info ) I'm pretty sure if my doctor is unsure of anything, she will blame pregnancy for most things... Even when you're not pregnant! I really broke out in the early days of this pregnancy so I'm wondering if my hormones are still just causing trouble. Plus the heat can't help. Hope yours goes away soon!

Haha! I was surprised because I thought, like your doctor, if they didn't have a reason they'd just say "it's one of those pregnancy things".
@Ceridwen77 just wondering how your rash is? The last few days My rash is all over my belly but it comes and goes. Went to the doctor and got the same "just one of those pregnancy things" again!! Did you need anything to help it? They said no need for any creams this time but it's been over a week and this seems like different advice from last time lol

Thanks for asking mine is actually completely gone. Took about 2 days and then started to see it fading. But now I have a cough so it's like one thing to the next!
I'm sorry you're still dealing with it! My doctor told me if it wasn't getting better in a few days to see a dermatologist. Is that an option for you? I wouldn't want to suffer any longer than you already have! Keep us posted.
Ugh. I have a rash. Took my shirt off and took a shower and saw it all over my belly. I was itching yesterday but didn't think anything of it. And now the office is closed so... Yay. It's not raised and only slightly itchy. I already have to use very delicate washes because of my eczema, so I am going to attribute this to my cocoa butter and hope it goes away. It's not my eczema btw. Looks totally different.
@emzcat I couldn't get a dermatologist appointment for agggges but I managed to speak with one on the phone and she recommended to have a cool shower every evening to soothe my skin and then just use a very plain cream or nothing at all. She thinks the bio oil was aggravating it... The rash hasn't appeared this week so it's looking like the likely reason! I've not been using any soap or body wash on my belly either, just water. Also I increased my water intake and I have no idea if it's just a coincidence but it seems to have helped too!?
