White tongue

My baby girl is 2 months old and had a white film on her tongue. We went to the doctor and it isn't thrush. So I'm wondering is it normal for their tongue to be white from drinking milk? Or is there anything I can do to clean it off? I've tryed putting gauze on my finger but it doesn't seem to clean it off very well..

If doctor says it's not thrust then yes it's fine and leave it be. You wouldn't want someone putting gauze in your mouth to clean off your tongue. It'll go away

It's milk. Leave it alone.

My baby girl has this after every milk and formula feeding. It's normal.

We asked our doctor and she said it wasn't thrush, but that cleaning it with a wet washcloth could help prevent thrush since the milk is what it feeds on.

My doctor always said this was normal and not to worry since it's not thrush. She said to leave it alone.
