I stupidly applied frontline (flea and tick led) on my dog today.

It took hours for me to think that this might be a problem.

I know there's nothing I can do now, but I wanted to know if any other ladies have used this on their animals during pregnancy, and what the outcome was. Would also love to hear from any ladies who work in the vet field or medicine who might have any knowledge regarding the product.

From what I learned while I was helping out at a vets office, you always have to wash your hands right after using Frontline, and you'll want to avoid petting the area of the animal that you applied it on for a while (until it dries). Thats a general rule though, not just for pregnancy. 

If you washed your hands right after, I dont think it'll have an effect on you or your baby, as thats only a very short time of contact. 

Frontline is also safe to use on pregnant dogs, so I dont see why it wouldnt be safe for a pregnant human to apply it

I did the same thing! I actually called the manufacturer of Frontline and they said don't touch the area on the dog for 24 hours. After that it's fine. I asked since I applied it if it was an issue and she said as long as I washed my hands afterwards and didn't et any on me I was fine.

Oh trust me I freaked out too! I didn't even think it was an issue and I actually forgot I was pregnant as I was just worried about my dogs getting ticks as we have a house in the woods.

I didn't even think about this ... I applied it a month ago and washed my hands after (but I always do) and we had an ultrasound on the 7th and our baby was fine

I ask my doctor about this and she said as long was you wash your hands afterwards you should be fine.
