Preemies and solids

I have twin boys who were born 6 weeks early. Everyone has an opinion of when I should start them on solids and rice cereal. How do I know when it is time to introduce them? I don't want to introduce too early.

    I agree. My baby was born 9 weeks early and I was told the same thing..
