Prometrium

Hi everyone,

My RE prescribed me to take 200 mg Prometrium 2 times a day (vaginally) to raise my progesterone levels.  Anyone have any experience taking this?  If so, did you have any side effects?  Was it difficult to..."place" the capsule so it would stay in?

I've been on prometrium suppositories many times.   No real side effects other than sore nipples and vivid dreams.  It's pretty messy so I recommend pantiliners.   It's not hard to put in at all, just remember to push it all the way in, like a tampon.

I have taken this vaginally. It does work well and I had no side affects at all from if other than sore breasts.

I'm on it too. Definitely messy, but no real side effects except for some fatigue the first 2 days or so. Good luck!
