Would you mind critiquing our plan?

Due to a medical issue when DH was younger, we need to use donor sperm. We have decided to use fresh donor sperm from someone we know.

Our plan is to have our donor deposit into a dixie cup, and then my DH and I would use a syringe (as seen from the children's tylenol bottles) and insert it into my vagina... no speculum, and I'll insert it AT my cervix, not in.

We plan to use OPKs and do this on the first day of my surge and 2 days after the first day of the surge. I temp and this month we did it on O-1 and O+1.

Is there anything else we should be doing? I have heard some people use soft cups. I have also heard of the "stork" device.

Any thoughts, comments or suggestions are extremely appreciated!
