GD with twins

Did anyone have GD with twins? Were you more likely to have to use insulin? Also, did that effect when you delivered? I had GD with a singleton and was not allowed to go past 40 weeks, was induced at 39w3d.

I was diagnosed with GD at 25w. I ended up on insulin around 28 weeks due to my blood sugar being over 140 consistently. It wasn't awful, just was a little inconvenient! I'm not the best example because I went into labor at 32 weeks and delivered at 35 weeks.

I failed my test by three points. I met with a nutritionist and tweeked my diet and never was on insulin. I delivered at 36 weeks due to preeclampsia. I was scheduled for 37 weeks.
