Is there a certain time of day she is particularly fussy? Does chewing on stuff help? My kiddos sucked on ice cubes wrapped in a towel or the munchkin mesh teething things.
4 months is kind of a weird time. Most people find their kids sleeping differently and acting differently around then.
I'm not trying to be an ass but babies can't always be pleasant. Sometimes they go through phases of increased fussiness and they are constantly changing.
Some signs of teething are drooling, pink cheeks, seeing white under the gums, chewing on things, etc.
And I agree with PP above. 4 months is a big transition time and lots of things change.
