This is the sixth week of our new check-in for mommas on this board that just want to feel connected, bond, and connect with each other on a weekly basis! Check-ins will be on Mondays (this week is late sorry).
So what's going on in your lives? Anything to share? Any LO updates?
Me: 30, DH: 32 My hx: uterus/hormones normal Dx: low AMH 0.5 = poor ovarian reserve hubby hx: low sperm count, poor motility, started on clomid, retest in May showed no improvement, will be on clomid another 3 months, another retest scheduled for August

ER (Thursday April 17th, 3 precious eggs).
April 18th: Received news 2 out of 3 eggs fertilized!
Planned 3dt: Easter day, transferred two 8B embryos and received pictures
Ugh...I go back to work in like a week. I'm in denial. I don't want to go, I'm also having anxiety about pumping at work and my LO taking a bottle.
So shutterfly has this 72 hour deal for 101 free prints, I decided I better get her first 3 months printed and put in albums. Discovered I have like 400 pictures already lol. So new goal is to do pictures every 3 months so I don't fall behind!
Anyway, finishing up my classes this semester. Going back to work next week, so just work for a couple of weeks. Then school, work, and baby this May.....................
Besides all of this, gonna try to enjoy the last days of my leave I've already cried a couple of times.
QOTW: Chocolate. Just plain makes me happy!

I've had a depressing couple of days. My SIL did a FET, first beta was 58, second was 85, and her nurse said if it doesn't double tomorrow, she will stop all meds and miscarry. I've been doing my best to encourage her but it's so hard.
A friend lost her twin girls (IVF babies) last night at 23 weeks gestation and it's been so hard to concentrate today. My only silver lining today is that my most challenging kids have picked up on my being off and have taken it easy on me.
H has another ear infection, this makes 3 since late January and a year after tubes being out. We're looking at another set of tunes and adenoids being taken out.
Sorry for being a downer today.
QOTW - chocolate for me too

I am finally done with hell week the last 3 weeks and have this whole week off work to decompress and attend to the house stuff i've been ignoring for too long! I'm keeping really busy, but all I want to do is sleep. Our new house inspection went really well and our current house inspection wasn't awful, so I can't complain there. One more week until I know for sure if we're going to close or not. Everything is hinging on how much the electrical issues will cost. Our house is over 100 years old and has knob and tube wiring, so has to be replaced. In other news, I've been enjoying time with my 9 month old - he is so much fun! I just really wish I had more mom friends nearby where I could talk about baby stuff and parenting. None of my friends have kids yet (I'm 30, but my friends don't want kids) and get upset if I want to talk about it. Favorite ice cream: Oreo and Cookie dough.

@mnj05 Hugs...... Wow, I'm sad for your SIL and friend. Did your SIL double? Glad you can be there to support them.
@Maladroit yay for new house. I'm sure it is exciting and stressful all at the same time. I'm 30 also, it's about half and half for friends with or without kids. Some aren't even married yet. Ever ytime I'm with my no kid friends I find myself apologizing, sorry all I talk about is kid stuff, but that is kinda my life right now :P

I'm in the thick of trying to figure out how to entertain a mobile inquisitive 9 month old (DD) and a 3.5 year old (DS) that wants to play games that the 9 month old wants to destroy. Most of the time I find That DS gets the short end of the stick because he can play on his own and I'm really feeling guilty for it.
Other than that, it's crunch time! My half marathon is in 1 month. I'm feeling pretty good about my training but putting a lot of pressure on myself about breaking 2 hours....I think I just need to go with the flow
Went to New York last week for work and had a blast. The highlight was going to the today show. So much fun. Then I came back for a day and we had Friday off for a stock market holiday, but DD2 ended up with a double ear infection and double pink eye. Ugh!! I'm really done with all these illnesses.
QOTW: I don't really like ice cream, but I do occasionally like frozen custard. Just vanilla with strawberries is good. I also like paletas- frozen mexican ice cream fruit Popsicle things.
@dp21 SIL's number did double today! They scheduled an ultrasound for the 20th.

@mnj05 - so happy to hear your SIL's beta doubled - fx for a great u/s.
@Maladroit - hope the inspection goes through okay. We are looking at houses too - it's so much work!
@dp21 I'm sorry your leave is coming to an end. I'm in denial too - I keep convincing myself that I've done it once before and this time will be easier - I think it will be tougher I missed the shutterfly sale - I'm still uploading photos - so you are ahead of me on that
@Cwhitaker27 - it's incredibly hard to juggle everything. I think it's great your training for a half marathon - I miss my running days and have to get back to it.
@CarrieB. New York sounds fun - hope DD 2 feels better soon.
I've been a little MIA..but I'm back - finally. We signed DS1 up for family kindergym and last Saturday was our first time - he loved it. We juggled it around two Easter egg hunts, but we managed. He's very musical and I wish I could find a Saturday class but they are all during the week - with going back to work in June - I can't make it work - unfortunately.
QOTW - favorite ice cream is peanut butter cup and cookie dough!

@dp21 iPhone 6 - I'm going to find the app, didn't know it existed! I make calendars for the grandparents every year - this year was such a pain shutterfly wouldn't take the iPhone pics because they weren't in the right format - does the app upload phone photos? I would be so excited if it did! We take majority of our photos on the phone not the camera and it's a bummer shutterfly won't accept the phone pictures.

@dp21 good luck going back to work! Hang in there, I know it's hard. @mnj05 Sorry about H's ear infections. That has to be hard and so sorry about friend's twins. That is so sad. I am happy to hear that your SILs beta doubled! @Maladroit good luck the house closing! That is so exciting!
Not much new here. I am still taking my 7 month old little guy to work with me 3 days a week for about four hours, but our office has been so busy I have been there 4-5 days for the past 6 weeks or so. This week I have to work all 5 days as we have people out of town. I am lucky I get to bring him with me, but it is stressful working with him as he has been crawling all over for a couple months. Daycare isn't an affordable option for us, so I will just keep on keeping on. B has has the flu and we had our first ER trip last Friday morning at 2:30 am when he had a fever over 103. They diagnosed him with the flu and gave us Tamiflu so we have just been caring for a fussy sick baby. Hoping he will really start to feel better tomorrow.
