TTMI

Sorry I haven't done this one in awhile, life has been all crazy lately.
My TTMI, when DD was a newborn, I was changing her and she had explosive diarrhea in the middle of the change. At that moment I had my head down and was blowing on her butt to dry her. Can you guess what happened? Yep, some of her poop...right in my mouth!

  • Someone posted fairly recently about picking LO's nose. Well I pick DS's nose all the time. I find it oddly satisfying to get a good one out :).
  • I'm growing out my leg hair so I can wax it. Capri season is around the corner! Are capris still in fashion?

Who cares if they are in fashion!? If they look good on you and are comfortable then wear them with pride! (Says the least fashion conscious bump member)

It is so much easier now that DD's nose is big enough for my pinky nail!

  • I love this thread.

We have a toilet that flushes super loud. If I have to go to the bathroom (1 or 2) I wait to flush if the baby is asleep. Some times I have to run back there to flush it when my husband gets home because I've forgotten to do it. Gross!
  • Tummy flu gave me the gift of 3 (three!!!) embarrassing (but thankfully small) accidents. I thought peeing my pants a month or so ago was bad.  Pooping them is far worse. Thank goodness I was home and very close to the bathroom.  And it was either the middle of the night or I was alone each time, so I don't think my DH even knows it happened. And those underwear were gross end-of-pregnancy ones anyway.  Good riddance.

Oh man, the description you gave in the other thread sounds a lot like what my husband and I had after Christmas. It was awful. I went through so many pairs of undies and pants. Once I was sitting on the toilet and had to yell for DH to bring me a garbage can...then I puked and narrowly missed hitting him. Thankfully we are both comfy with all the nastiness our bodies provide.

  • All I could keep thinking was that after giving birth, I should be okay with any number of physical indignities, @BADASBKRCK But man. I'd gladly go through the gross pregnancy and post-partum stuff instead of having the stomach flu. I think that statement may be an official measure of my craziness. Haha.

I do the same thing!!! I forget a lot though and my husband finds it and always yells at me that it's gross!

Post partum craziness is a valid and understandable excuse! Somehow crapping your pants because you're sick doesn't garner as much sympathy. Although you have mine! Did the stomach flu thing in January and it sucked balls.

Our upstairs bathroom is sandwiched between DD's room and ours. When I pee at night I just leave it in the toilet FOR DH to find in the morning lol. I'm such a nasty little girl!

We do this too. One more reason why I can't wait to move to a newer and larger home. Of course, by the time we can afford to do it, kid(s) will probably be too old for us to be worrying about waking them with toilet flushing. Ah well.

DH and I fight over picking our kids' noses. You're in good company.

Me too! And I have to show serious restraint not to pick the 3 year old's nose... Considering we're trying to get her to stop picking her own nose, it would probably be a bad idea for me to pick her nose.
  • I'm growing out my leg hair so I can wax it. Capri season is around the corner! Are capris still in fashion?

I hope so! I still wear them :). I'm so out of the fashion loop that it's never crossed my mind that they might not be!
A very fashion conscious friend of mine will go shopping with me and she'll just take the things I pick out away from me and give me a sad "no". It's pitiful.

  • We've just refinished the kids bath and ours is next. Top of my list: dual flush toilets so that pees can be flushed almost silently. Solves the stale urine in the morning problem. I am also overly excited about the new toilet paper holders that rotate rather than spring load to hold the role.

  • @BADASBKRCK the middle of the night pees always stay until morning. I think it's the middle of the day poops that might disturb him. Haha!

I thought our family was the only one to do this.  Glad we are not alone! :)  Problem is our whole family does this: DH, 2 boys and me.  After discovering poops that were not flushed all day because we would leave the house without flushing, I mandated that we have to flush poops.  Only pees can stay.

When I was a kid, there was a major drought on in CA. The little jingle we learned was "if it's yellow, let it mellow. If it's brown, flush it down." ;)
