22 weeks bleeding ..

Hey everyone. Last night my boyfriend and I rushed to the er at midnight bc I was bleeding out of nowhere. Got to the hospital and the checked the cervix , it was closed. Heartbeat was strong and ultrasound showed baby fine. They stated that the placenta was low (been old before ). But the ONLY things that have changed were 1. We had sex the day before 2. I ran up the stairs and moved to quickly felt like I pulled a muscle on right side of stomach. Doc said pelvic bed rest and there is no more reding as of now but I'm wearing a pad just I case and every time I wipe there is faint light remnants. Doc also said that it could take a couple days for all the blood to leave. I have an appt with my doctor tomorrow but has anyone else had this? Could I endanger the baby or should I be worried that I will lose the baby now? This is the worst Easter as all I keep doing is running to the bathroom to check and making sure she kicks every now and then. Anyone else deal with this?

I had heavy bleeding at 27 weeks. Sounds similar to yours. I was admitted to L&D and prepped for a c-section in case the placenta was damaged, but it turned out alright and my DD was born at 41w 1d very healthy.
My placenta was also low, but there was no clear indication as to what caused the bleeding. It was just one of those things. I too was totally scared the first days and constantly checking for bleeding, but it gets better as you feel the LO kick in there and know everything is still ok.
Talk to your doctor tomorrow about restrictions and things to look out for. Take care of yourself! GL

I haven't experienced bleeding that late in pregnancy however just wanted to say prayers are with you. Can be scary however if you've stopped bleeding and are resting you should be fine. Things happen ♡

I got a little bleeding the last time DH and I had sex.

I had bleeding around that time with my pregnancy with ds. It was pretty light and they couldn't figure out why but he is now 2 and a healthy and happy little boy!
