This weekly check-in is for anyone using/considering or who has used a 3rd party method of reproduction, including: Donor egg, donor sperm, embryo adoption, gestation carrier, or surrogate - also Donors, GC's and surrogates are welcome as well! If you don't check-in for 3 weeks you'll be removed from the list but we'll happily add you back next time you check in!

Looks like there are only a couple of us left posting!  No news from me.  QOTW:  I went to Zhijuatenajo, Mexico and it was horrible!  No particular story, but I especially hated all of the homeless, starving dogs.  I carried Ziplocs full of dog chow and bottled water for the poor things.  I don't ever plan on going back!

Hello everyone! Sorry I've been away for awhile. We had a check up appointment last week and our mw was reviewing the measurements from our 20w a/s (we're 25w+1d today). She was concerned because his head circumference was measuring in the 8th percentile. So she scheduled another ultrasound at 28 weeks. I'm a little worried, but she was reasuring that it was just out of an abundance of caution. Looking forward to taking anouther sneak peek at him though!

Worst vacation story (National lampoon vacation style)?  Went on a cruise to Mexican Riviera... ship got caught in a hurricane... what... a... nightmare!

Doesn't seem like many post, I know I am not great about it, and probably will stop now because my u/s on Friday showed nothing there, so officially not pregnant. Again. This is more than likely the end of my TTC road, as we have had now 6 failures with DE and DS and even with the addition of Lovenox and lots of testing can't figure out why I can't carry a baby past 7 weeks. DH wants to look into adoption, I don't know what I want to do. I want to just quit really. This has been a part of my life since 2010 and I feel like it's become my identity and I don't know what to do with myself if I'm not TTC. Does that make sense?

QOTW: I've really never had a disastrous vacation. I've had some blah ones but nothing like a hurricane or horrible destination!

Update on me:  I'm on Lupron, delestrogen and baby aspirin. I had my E2 checked today and my egg donor's baseline and stims started today as well. Shit is gett'n real!!

QOTW: I've never had a National lampoon style vacation, but when I was a teen, my parents left me at home while they went camping/boating with the family.  Well they left, I had a party.  And this girl had a boy in her bedroom.  Well guess whose parents came home in the middle of the night because they got a flat on the boat trailer and wanted to replace it before the morning?  This girl!!   Luckily we had a great dog who barked whenever anyone came home.  I had the boy hide under my bed until they left with the spare tire.

 @ceemonkey I am sorry, def. can relate.  take some time to have fun, love yourself and your spouse.  no need to rush or make any decisions this month.  I can't tell you how much therapy/counseling helped me over these years. Yoga, prayer , whatever your into, use it!

Congrats on the pregnancy, I'm sorry for those that haven't had success, super exciting for those just starting!!

I am waiting for AF to start ~4/22.  This will be our first cycle (and hopefully LAST ) to use donor eggs (i'm 43) w/husband's sperm!  Donor eggs ship to my clinic 4/14, once AF comes, baseline sono same day or after......continue to grow lining and praying for super successful thaw + ICSI and hoping/praying for several 5 day blasts to choose from and xfer in early May!!!  SUPER nervous about all the unknowns...how many will make it through the thaw, how many will fertilize, how many should we put in IF we get good thaw/fert results (I don't desire to have multiples if at all possible)...and the big one....should we do PGS testing (we are leaning towards 'no').....

Hello Everyone

I am new here.  I'm still getting use to the abbreviations so you may get long hand from me. My DH and I will be doing our second round of sperm donation this month, first month didn't work, getting over the first one sucked a little. We had no luck natural, on his end, so we are going for the next step up.  Keeping fingers, legs, and eyes crossed. nice to meet you all!!

Vacation: We never took a lot of vacations?? Did a lot of camping, lost my sandals white water rafting thats about it.

I'm new here too.  Hubby and I did first IUI with donor sperm 4 days ago.  Keeping my fingers crossed and praying for good news!  ...And camping up north at the cabin is always my favorite.  Really sucked when jet ski's broke down in the water like 8 miles from the cabin though.  lol
