My 4 month isn't cooing

My 4 month isn't cooing or "gaa"ing. Is there something wrong?? Anything I can do to fix it?? She was talkative when she was 2 and 3 months and now it's just a loud noice here and there. It's as if she's regressed in talking...

Hmm... Do you speak to her a lot? Maybe she takes things in more like an introvert. I honestly have no idea -/ just thought I'd throw that out there. Time to contact the doctor, I say!

This happened to us too, my husband read somewhere that when they are to trying to achieve more milestones they stop talking as much!

My little one was like this, she was so talkative (noises) then around 4 months it was like i was begging her to talk, she used to make the odd loud noise but now shes 5 1/2 months and for the last couple weeks the loud noise became actual proper noises if you understand what i mean, they will grow out of it just make sure u constantly talk to them, i even used to just tell her what i was doing when i ran out of things to say lol!

He wasn't sleeping well for a few nights when he wasn't talking soo much and then he got a couple great nights of sleep and then was back to his talkative self. He also started rolling not really sure if that had anything to do with it. I hope that she starts talking again but if she doesn't she might be to constrated in accomplishing something else!

Hi! My 4.5 monthh old did the same thing. He was so talkative then was super quiet for two weeks. I was concerned too then I read "The Wonder Weeks". It says baby's stop doing certain things when they are working towards large developmental leaps. Well sure enough two days ago he started talking again but not just babbles he looked right at me and said "Gooo moo hoo!" Now he won't stop talking! I recommend that book it's very insightful! Hang in there your little one will dazzle you with some Dr. Suess talk soon!
