My boss has been super snappy and rude since I announced my pregnancy (I'm his only manager and I'm sure he's a little stressed). So today, he kept typing the wrong password into our company website and it locked him out. He yelled at me and asked me why I always change the password without telling him ??? I've never changed it haha!!!! WTF??

today I was reminded of what kind of a mother I don't want to look like. I saw a teenage boy wearing yellow long pleated shorts, with an egg shell blue polo with loafers........then I saw "Buffy" (his mother) and that explains so much. Had a light sweater tied around her shoulders, thin head band, pretty much the same outfit as her son. I didn't realize the 80's yuppy look was still a thing? And it really made me confirm that I will never dress that way!

I also want to say that people are so annoying about names. they act so enthusiastic about asking you what names you have picked out and so you get excited and then you tell them and then they get this blank stare of disappointment across their face. I'm about ready to just keep it private. my names are pretty traditional and not trendy!

My workmate who is a complete troll decided today was the day for some over sharing. She told me about her three pregnancies and miscarriages, which is tragic but super awkward when I'm my work desk. Then went on in great detail about her midnight orgasms that she'd had when she was pregnant. What do you even say to that? And why do people now want to tell me about their sex lives now?

I found out today I'm having a boy (yay!), but literally every extended family member we called on my mom's side (she has 9 brothers and sisters who were waiting to hear the news) asked us at least twice if "we were SURE???!!" because they "thought it was a girl for sure"..WTF ? Yes, we're sure, we saw the goods! Definitely NOT a girl lol. I love them all very much but when we say we're sure let it go!

Maybe they thought we were trying to April fools them....lol

My best friend just now is asking about birth control and things because she's getting married soon. I was giving her my learned advice about the subject. She then proceeds to tell me about how she and her finance are not going to be wearing pj's for long (They are both virgins) . WTF why do I need or want to hear about that? ! Come talk to me after you have that really awkward wedding night and have a little more experience in this area. 2 kids later I've done it a few more times than you have.

I'm a salon manager in a busy salon, have one stylist who ONLY works 430-8 shifts so 3.5 hours of work. She called off this morning by 9 am due to her bf breaking up with her like wtf you will be 30 soon!.you can't pull your shit together! But yet I was vomiting all night/ day and I can drag my ass to work! Please just stop showing up, your more of a headache than an actual employee...end rant:)

I work in a rental company and the ladies freezer went out we got her a new freezer but forgot to pick up the other one called yelling because we didn't pick up the broken one and that she had to bend over because I got her a chest freezer and she had an upper right freezer WTF why do people have to be like why can't you just be happy that I got you something so you didn't have to do without the freezer so you didn't ruin your damn food


I go to work and I'm there about an hour and then I get hungry and I'm like okay I'm going to clock out because I'm hungry then two hours later I clock out for lunch not going to take my full lunch because I had clocked out for 15 minutes two hours before so it's going take 45 minute lunch and they said you just ate I wanted to choke them and say I'm pregnant I can eat whenever I want as long as I take my damn lunch people

My husband is military and lives over 700 miles away I try to see him on average every 2 months....not much but we are making it work for now. I have had 2 people ask me questions along the lines of "how we're you all together to make that happen" or "how? Was it cybersex"....I'm thinking....first off my sex life is none of your business....Secondly how did it happen... well you see when a man loves loves a woman.....but really just weird. I mean are they wanting me to answer "nope it's my man on the sides baby?" (To clarify this is 100% not the case). I also had a lady ask me if I was getting fatter....wtf? How is that acceptable? I'm also over people telling me I can't lift stuff...I lift heavier normally and my dr. Said it's okay....you are not my dr....ughh

Man, I think you have it a little tougher than most of us, what a load of crap to deal with from dumb people, I'm sorry!! My boss asks me if it was planned (which I hate), then he asked how long I have been married and how far along I am, as if he's trying to find out if I was married when baby was conceived??? WTF???

I guess it's because I'm showing more than they thought I would at this point?! Thanks for making me feel huge.

Lord only knows how much this will continue when we all realllly pop .

@mrscaterosales I cannot stand the "was it planned" question! I got that with my first pregnancy a lot. Like it's anyone's business. For the record he was a COMPLETE surprise so I always just answered with "no it wasn't but is obviously meant to be!" I'll be announcing this planned bubba Easter morning hehehe

@mel0601, yeah I've gotten that question too...I guess because my life isn't cookie cutter I couldn't have possibly wanted to start a family....I mean what does it matter if it was or wasn't...usually just seems to me like someone is searching for juicy gossip or something. Why are people so rude? On another note when I was ttc..I bought a pregnancy test and I'm wondering what the check out lady was thinking....and I think her response was one of the most considerate I've heard. She simply said "I hope you get the news you are hoping for." She didn't assume one would be worse than the other and I liked that she acknowledged it instead of awkwardly ignoring it since it was my only purchase....There is hope for decent people haha

I'm in the exact same boat. I've had that- and the whole: "you're really showing! You look much further along!"

I've either said: "Nope, guess my weak ab muscles can't hold my uterus in." Or "There's a lot of frozen yogurt in their too."

Nothing gets me more than being patronized- and since I'm petite and blonde I'm a target for patronizing comments. I HATE that whenever I have some sort of minor slip up in speaking, or briefly forget something or whatnot I get :"PREGNANCY BRAIN!" 

If you try to make me sound dumber than I am one more time and call it pregnancy brain I WILL go insane.

I work with kids at a shelter. One of the babies threw up all over me today. I had to hose down a 10 by 10 area of concrete in the entryway... I had to bathe in a sink and wear sweat pants from the donation closet the rest of the day.... No one helped me... It wasn't pregnancy related.... Just a very unexpected and gross turn of events... It was just the pinnacle of my WTFWednesday.

This isn't exactly a WTF comment about pregnancy, but:

My nine-year-old called my eight-year-old a "can of butt juice" and it made me gag just to hear someone say that.  I guess I'm still pretty nauseous these days.

I had a woman stare at my bump and comment about how big my bump is for 16 weeks. But the look on her face was pure disgrace like "you cant be that big at 16w" I felt the need to protect my bump from her judgy eyes! I hate judgmental people! We are all different so naturally we will have and grow babies differently!

My wtf moment today was due to my mom. I finally told her I'm pregnant but not to tell a soul because only she, my older sister (who is living with me and DH) and in laws know. She then proceeds to text me two hours later saying I need to call my younger sister because she feels left out since she found out from my mom and not me.... I was planning on telling her next week on her birthday and now I look like a jerk. Wtf I said tell NO ONE!!

My brother's gf used being pregnant as an excuse to eat everything in sight while she was pregnant with my nephew so she got huge and now can't lose it. I'm 17 weeks and lost 6 pounds so I'm not showing that much. So today she asks me when I'm gonna show because I should be way bigger by now. I'm sorry your name is #1 on my how not to be pregnant list!

I clean a woman's house every other week and I have asked her previously to not smoke around me. So cleaning day came around and she smoked about a pack in the house. Then asked me to scrub the walls today because they looked yellow. Maybe if she stopped smoking indoors she wouldn't have that issue. Ugh. I leave smelling like I was in a darn casino.

My WTF moment has happened on more than one occasion. Not today but almost every time I tell someone I know that I'm pregnant. Being asked, "so are yall gonna get married now?" UGH it just burns me up!!!! We aren't married yet, but we are engaged to be. We've been together for 4 years. Like please don't give me that look of "so it's unexpected, that's shameful, you should be married to have a child" I just hate judgements like this of all kind. Yes it was a surprise and yes it wasn't how we would have planned it, but this baby in my womb is nothing short of a blessing. It is happening the way that God planned it, so F OFF!

I got this question, too! I don't think they really understood how awful that question can be. Yes, we're getting married, no it's not because anyone else might think we should!

We planned our pregnancy (ish - ntnp), and we have good reasons for waiting to be legally married, but in our hearts we already are. Even if we weren't, an outsider's perspective has no bearing on what is best for us and for baby. Butt out!

My husband and I were in the process of buying a house but were facing some difficulties from the seller (a bank). The last straw was that they wanted us to pay $1500 to put in an alternative heating system so they could get the house de winterized and finally we could get an inspection. NO I don't think I'm putting down extra money and then have the possibility of finding out that the roof is garbage or the foundation is rotting! It's like do you really not want to sell this property??? Just as a side note we offered 7k more than asking... Grr

My husband and I tried to get pregnant for four years before this pregnancy. It was heartbreaking watching a sister-in-law pray to not get pregnant (because that works!), then have twins she complains about incessantly. Well, the first time said sister-in-law saw us after finding out we are pregnant, her response was, "When you guys got pregnant, it should have been us!" WTF! Who says that to someone, in any situation, ever?? Apparently she wants another baby; her husband does not. How can I even socialize with her at family events? I want to punch her in her selfish face. Rant over!

My dad told me that it looks like I'm not gaining too much weight. WTF! Why do men think that they ever have the right to comment on a woman's body? The only one who has that right is DH and it had better be compliments. 

Also, my dad said that it's very important to breast feed the baby so it doesn't develop an oral fixation, because he wasn't breast fed and is orally fixated so he can't stop smoking and it's all Nana's fault. I know he's my dad, but I tell you there are days . . .

I got a slue of questions about my marriage, it was a little different but JUST as frustrating. DH and I got married fast- within less than a year of knowing each other. I got a lot of raised eyebrows at how quickly it was taking place, and I used to just tell people we have no wish to change the pace of our lives to make outsiders more comfortable about it. People are rude.

This!!!!! My sister gained 75 pounds with her first (and she looked fat in addition to looking pregnant) and hadn't lost it all by the time she became pregnant with #2 3.5 years later. I'm pretty active and try to eat healthy and those porterhouse steaks look so good, but she's my idol on what not to look like at the end of my pregnancy. I'm 18 weeks and have gained 2 pounds since my first appointment! Selfie high five!

My WTFWednesday goes to my sonographer. She didn't do her job properly by updating the system, so I cant book my 20 week scan in.

Apparently no one else can update it, it has to be her, oh and to add insult to injury, she's off
for a week!

welcome to another edition of wtfwednesday. This week, I say "WTF?" to an aunt who decided to post something lovely on a fb photo I took. DH and I are taking once a month bump shots. On this one  at 16 weeks she says: "Wow, you sure are big for four months!" Thanks... but saying nothing would be better.

Shouldn't bother me, but I've been getting a lot of those comments as of late and I'm sorry world- I can't help that my baby bump is big. Just gotta deal.

Wow, that's asking Karma to bite you in the ass.... Everyone's body reacts differently to pregnancy, and it's not the norm for it to melt right off. Try not to be so judgy. It's unbecoming on anyone.
