TTC after 35

Is it just me (other peoples losses mentioned)

Or do you other ladies who have suffered losses get really emotional when we hear about our other bumpies suffering the same fate??
Prior to mine I was always very sad to read about it happening, but now that I have that experience behind me I will downright cry, real falling tears when I read those words of someone returning. Real wet, sad tears. I have always been an empathetic person, but I think the experience has made me even more aware of my emotions and those of others. Not just surrounding loss but certainly when it comes to losses of fellow bumpies.......the waterworks they just breakthrough. I think I have turned into a blubbering mess of a human.....lol.

Re: Is it just me (other peoples losses mentioned)

  • I agree that I really feel the pain of other fellow bumpies, especially since I've had a couple of losses myself. I also feel their joys - like when someone announces a BFP, it really makes my day! I guess it just comes with sharing so much with others and feeling like we are all going through similar things...

  • I am definitely sad to hear of other losses but I rarely shed tears. But I will say that I was just very emotional the first 6 months after my losses. Your emotions are running high from that as well as you know and understand what they are going through. Loss is just sad and it sucks that now you know that.

  • I think its a stronger emotion for us now because it reminds us of what we went through. As time goes on those feeling should level out but we will always probably feel stronger about losses then we did before simply because we have experienced them ourselves. It's not a bad thing :) just reminds us we are wonderfully human and we experience love and loss in a powerful way.
  • Glad Im not totally crazy.

I think I definitely feel the sadness more when its someone Im more "familiar" with. Thats when my waterworks burst.
