Question of the Week: Tomorrow is April Fools Day. I'm sure we'll see the asinine "I'm pregnant" prank, but hopefully none of us have very many friends who think that is funny. Do you like pranks? What's the best prank you've pulled?

Update:  Today is CD 3 I had my baseline today all looks good in the ute. I am cruising a long with the lupron and I start delestrogen tonight.

QOTW:  I'm not a big prankster, and do not love getting pranked, but if it's in good taste I'm a good sport.

I am just cruising along on lupron, prednisone, baby aspirin, estrace, and lovenox.  I have my first E2 check tomorrow and start viagra suppositories on Saturday.  Monday is my first lining check (E2 and u/s), then Tuesday I have my doppler u/s and IVIG infusion with KK (also doing a CBC and checking immune levels), Wednesday I have a therapy appointment, then Thursday another lining check and E2 (hopefully my last), and Friday I am doing a double dose intralipid infusion.  If my lining looks good on Thursday, then transfer will be 4/14.

Hey ladies! I'm back to the bump... Had our first FET last April and I miscarried at 11 weeks in June. We are finally thinking about doing our Second FET this June... 3 years TTC now. Just wanted to introduce myself and hope that this time around works for us and for all of you!

Yay Twinkie0612 ! It sounds like you both are making great progress! I'm still chugging along on Lupron, and so grateful that so far my cycle is acting normal. AF should come in the next couple of days, then CD2 testing and hopefully I'll be stimming for my "for real" IVF #4 starting next week!

Musicianlala26 I'm so sorry about your miscarriage and that you are having to join us, but we've had a lot of recent graduates, so I think our little group is good luck. If all goes as planned, I'll have my ER in April and do a "natural cycle" FET in June, too.

QOTW: I like the prank I've seen where the fridge items are all covered in googly eyes! But I'm not much into pulling pranks or being pranked. And sadly, I always seem to forget the significance of April 1st until its something ridiculously over-the-top. Although, I think the stuff that "Think Geek" pretends to sell on April 1st is always good for a laugh.

@Carol77B Thanks! I'll be happy to have a few friends on here to go through IVF again with. Its nice to have a support group! Wishing everyone lots of baby dust in the next upcoming months!

Hello ladies...I am back.  I will start stims next week.  AF is to arrive on Sunday and should have baseline on Monday.  Then stims start that evening.  I have started with patches and Ganirelex today, yesterday and Tuesday.  

I last week was the anniversary of my first m/c last year.  It was a tough week for me, but I am feeling better.  New month, new cycle, new outlook I guess.

@berries555 did AF arrive as planned? I had my baseline yesterday (Easter morning!) and start the meds today! April is going to be a very busy month for BTDTers!

I'm so sorry you had a tough week last week. I know how hard it is to keep going through those types of "anniversaries," but I think you have the right attitude.

AF arrived on Saturday...so a day early.  RE was able to get me in on Saturday for baseline u/s.  And they saw 17 antral follies (last cycle only 11).  Below is my injection schedule

Sunday 375 Follistem

Monday 375 Follistem

Tuesday 375 Follistem

Wednesday 375 Follistem 3 vial Menapur

Thursday 375 Follistem 3 vial Menapur

I will go back Friday morning for my next u/s and get the next 2 days of injections.  In my last 2 E2 protocols, they only had me on 2 vials Menapur....so I am wondering why they increased??  Does anyone have any advise??

@berries555 17 is fantastic!!! I'm so happy for you! I've never had a baseline that high for one of my cycles.

I've also never had a cycle where I started Gonal-F and added the Menopur a few days in. Is that how your other cycles went? I know that the higher the dose the more "aggressive" the treatment is and I think that the 225 (three vials) is basically the max dose of Menopur. I'm doing the Lupron Stop and here's my current meds schedule:

Monday AM: 300 Gonal-F
Monday PM: 225 Menopur
Tuesday AM: 300 Gonal-F
Tuesday PM: 225 Menopur
Wednesday AM: 300 Gonal-F
Wednesday PM: 225 Menopur
Thursday - check (will take my Gonal-F in the afternoon)

I didn't ask what I had a baseline, because I'm trying not to stress myself out (since this will be my third time trying to complete IVF #4), but I'm super hopeful we'll have three or more make it to freeze (we are doing a freeze-all) and if I do, we'll have PGS testing and I'll do a "Natural" FET in June. Are you trying anything different with cycle?

@Carol77B For all of my cycles, I have always started with Follistim for the first 3 days, then added the Menapur (2 vials for the first 3 cycles, and now I am doing 3.  

I was very happy about baseline at first, but all of my experiences in IVF have taught me that I cannot get too excited...bc things can fall apart quickly.  I know that sounds bad, but I just do not want to get overly excited.  

I started requesting a copy of the u/s documentation every visit.  I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing.  I just compare all of my notes.  

FX that IVF 4.2 is a go for you!!!

@berries555 I completely understand not getting too excited. I am trying to protect myself by not agonizing over every little thing (which is why I didn't press about my AFC at baseline), but it is so hard not to obsess. I do trust my new clinic/RE more than my last one, so that is making it a little easier.
