What car seats did you guys get? Also, what kind of cars do you drive? We first got the peg prego car seat and our stroller didn't come with an adapter ( I really love the stroller and didn't want to return it) we then bought the maxi cosi bucket seats. Today we assembled a bunch of stuff and put the car seats in the car and they hardly fit! I drive a BMW X3 - they are the medium sized SUVs, we just bought this car because we figured we needed lots of room with twins, am I installing them wrong? Can anyone suggest smaller car seats? My mind is actually blown and I totally cried today because I don't want to get a minivan ( I'm a big car person)
It seems totally crazy to get a bigger car but I actually Can't believe how much stuff twins need. Help meee
I will be 30 weeks tomorrow with our girls. I had to have an emergency c-section with my son. I went overdue with him and had to be induced. He went into distress so we were rushed into the c-section for his safety. This time around baby A is on my left side and she's breech. Baby B is way up in my ribs and transverse. My doctor and I already discussed it, and I will be having a scheduled c-section this time around. She says with twins at our hospital they usually take you by 38 weeks unless babies aren't big enough. So just because I went overdue with my first, does not mean I'll do the same again. I also bf my son for 13 months. I'm hoping to do the same this time around. I'm looking into the Twin Z pillow. Any twin moms have expertise in that area? I have had horrible back pain for months now. I got the horrible pelvic pain about 2 weeks ago. It's bad. I work 40 hours a week on my feet, and I'm just exhausted and in so much pain by the end of the day. I am looking forward to maternity leave with my kids!

We just bought a Yukon XL to accommodate our twins + our toddler. We get rough winters so we wanted an SUV + a lot of trunk space.

I have so much respect for you working FT + being on your feet. I couldn't do it. I worked two jobs + school when I was pregnant with our son (17 months old now) but that was a totally different pregnancy! Hopefully the last 8 wks of your pregnancy goes by quickly and you're holding your girls before you know it.

Thanks! I worked full time right up until the day I had my son too. But like you said, it was a totally different pregnancy. Then I had no morning sickness, no back or stomach pain. It was the dream pregnancy. This time around I had ms until 24 weeks, and occasionally still throw up. My 2 pregnancies couldn't be more different! I just keep telling myself that it'll all be worth it when I see my girls. I hope everyone has a good rest of your pregnancies and we all have beautiful, healthy twins to hold!

YES. Night and day pregnancies from singleton to twins. I'm so excited to be in the 3rd trimester LOL as much as I'm trying to enjoy every last moment we have with our son being an only child, any other BTDT mom knows just how challenging the 3rd trimester can be! Between the anticipation and discomfort, it's hard to stay away from the calendar and Baby apps haha

I know the Radian car seats (I think that's the name) are slim...but I don't know if they are for infants too
