NBR: summer swimwear

Ive been on a mission to drop this baby weight which is going really well but the thought of picking out a swimsuit for the summer is cringe worthy. I'm tempted to try a 2 piece but am not quite there yet. What are your ladies thoughts on high waisted bikinis? Sometimes I think it would be perfect to hide that mom flab and stretch marks but then I think who am I kidding.... Buy a 1 piece you dummy, you're a mom now.

Can't do it this summer, but I've been wanting to try a high waist for those same reasons. I don't know if my build would look good in it though. I usually gravitate to tankinis to cover everything. I say go for it and let us know what you think with it on!

Haha @mnj05 sending me to be the guinea pig? I worry sometimes the high waist accentuates the pooch. I'll have to try one on. Thx for the encouragement!!

I think they are super cute!!!  I am abaout 30 lbs away from that being an option for me right now, but I am working on it!  I love them on just about everyone.

I would totally be the guinea pig if I weren't pregnant right now! I'm hoping it has more of a tuck everything into place fit. I always swore I'd never buy mom jeans but I understand the need for them!

I have a two piece that is a tankini top and shorts bottoms. I bought something with more coverage since I was taking DD1 to a swim class and I had to get in the pool with her. I got it from Athleta- very flattering, cute and not too mom-like.

I tried the high waisted ones but they gave me a roll over the top so I went back to regular bikini bottoms. I am by no means thin (25lb above where I would like to be). The regular bottoms hit me at a more flattering part.
