Does anyone else feel very uncomfortable while sitting or laying down? Almost like your stomach hurts when you sit down. No matter what position your in. It's like crampy.
From the start of your third trimester the chances of you feeling comfortable in any position are not good.
Standing up, sitting down, laying down, feet up - it all probably sucks in it's own way. If it's not the swollen feet, it's the reflux or the back or hip pain or something else.
Changing positions just means trading one discomfort for the next.
This is my experience. Maybe the others are more lucky.
Put your feet up when you sit down. It helps me so much. Also wear loose clothes. I am converted to yoga pants and cotton shorts (I live in Florida). I found I have a lot of discomfort when I wear my maternity jeans and pants that are even a little tight.
I have a huge memory foam body pillow that I keep between my knees when I sleep. When I'm awake and working, I lean back b/c leaning forward hurts in about ten seconds. I think I'm lucky that driving my 40 minute commute is still tolerable.
I had to work standing up today. I was in so much pain sitting. Between baby dropping and Braxton hicks contractions I was in tears. I left work 2 hours later.

You did better than I did. Between the pain in my back, BH, cramping, & real contractions, I called off work completely. I didn't think there was any possible way I would have made it on my feet for even 5hrs.
In same boat here. At work I don't get much of a break to sit often. Between swollen feet and reflux and being uncomfortable and the baby feeling like he's trying to push his way out the centre of my belly it's really hard to get any sleep. As I said to a friend of mine today the glory days are just about over lol 9 more weeks to go!
I have 5 more weeks to go with work and I'm hoping they go fast. I'm not so much achy as I am exhausted. I sit for the majority of my day, so I think I'm luckier than a lot of moms on here.

You might want to drink more water.
