BH, or real deal this time?

Today was my last day of work. for the past couple weeks, being on my feet at work revs up BH, then it takes a couple hours of lying around at home to make them go away. Today started out the same. Now I'm lying around and waiting for them to go away, as usual. Except my older female dog keeps coming to lie next to me about a minute before each one starts.

Hmmmm..... hey, it's about as reliable as any if the other signs, right? Lost your mucus plug? Could be in labor now, OR another week. Nesting instinct start? Could mean labor in 24 hours OR another 2 weeks.

Hi @mattandlora - when did your first baby arrive?
I remember with my daughter, I was so hopeful it'd start early, i was totally ready starting at 37 weeks. 

And she was born at 40 weeks and 6 days...

But with the second it should be hopefully sooner than with the first?

@superlowamh - I was induced a week early with the first one because of size. My siblings and I were all 9lb babies and he was on track for that if he went too late. He ended up being 8lbs at 1 week early and got stuck on the way out. He made it out after 3 hours of pushing. SO thankful he didn't go past the due date!

I'll be 39 weeks on Sunday. I see the doctor on Monday and we'll set an induction date then, if I haven't already delivered. I'm having a lot more "impending labor" symptoms than I ever did with DS.

However, for tonight, the contractions are gone and I decided my dog is a moron.

mattandlora!  I have been really enjoying reading your daily "impending labor" posts - they always make me smile, and you seem to have such a great attitude.  I hope everything goes well at the doctor on Monday!

I love reading your posts. lol They always make me laugh.  I hope labor really does start for you soon!!  My OB totally burst my bubble this week.  I'm on these makena injections and my high risk doc always told me that typically women begin to labor about a week after the last one which is at 37 weeks. That's exactly what happened with DD.  I literally went into labor at 37 weeks and 6 days. I was talking to my current OB about that and he was like well not always.  I said hey listen.. don't burst my bubble here.. it WILL be happening at 38 weeks. lol  My DS was born a week early.  DD was born 2 weeks early. DS was 8lbs 3oz.  DD was 7lbs 3.5oz.

Yeah, I've also been enjoying your updates @mattandlora. When I read that about your dog, I was like "this is it for sure!" And then you shot that down. Well, hopefully soon!
