Eli or similar

We are 14 weeks and team green, so still have a while to go but we have been talking names. 

We both like Eli, as a full name.  I am not too opposed to Elijah, but really like Eli better. 

We also like Ezra a little, although our last name ends in a Z sound, so maybe it is too harsh on the Z's.

Any other good E names?

We liked Everett back when I had a loss, but now are not as on board with it. Evan is out, that is our best friend's sons name.

Ezra is good too, and if you decide to go with that, I personally wouldn't be bothered by the two Zs.

I think Eli is fine by itself. Other suggestions --Elias, Ethan, Efraim, Edward, Erik, Edwin, Ezekiel (z again though), Elliott, Eben, Errol

I love Eli, Elias, or Elijah. I think Eli could be a nickname for either Elias or Elijah, but it's also great on its own.

I think Eli works as a name on it's own.  But as pp suggested, I like Ethan.

My ds is Elijah and almost everyone calls him Eli. I love his name. I wanted him to have a longer name that could shorten to a nickname.

I like Eli. I think it needs Elijah as a formal name, though. Every Elijah I've known automatically goes by Eli, like Luke and Lucas or Josh and Joshua. No one calls them by the full name.
