Melatonin

Has anyone used melatonin to help your child with sleep occasionally? My daughter is almost 3 and her sleep is all over the place. I have not given her any, just wondering what other's experiences have been. Have a MD appointment soon and was going to talk to the MD about it.

I have used it. 0.5mg within an hour of bedtime. They fall asleep quickly but it doesn't help my kids stay asleep all night unfortunately. My kids have always been bad sleepers, but they fall asleep OK....It is the staying asleep all night that is the issue!
