You Know Your Baby's Growing Up When...

Finish this sentence.

For me:

You know your baby's growing up when he turns his bouncer over on top of himself while he's strapped in, and proceeds to crawl around like a turtle baby.

We're SOL for shower time now...

  • @amberliz99 Now that is a beautiful thing!

  • When LO walks himself to the stairs, saying " "night night" when he's ready for sleep.

That sounds like a dream come true!
  • When I realized LO is 3lbs away from hitting the weight limit on the change table. Where the hell am I going to change him?

What!? There is a weight limit on a changing table?? How is that possible?

Not sure, but ours says maximum 30lbs on the side.
  • When LO wakes in the night and says "wa wa" takes a few sips of water that I give him and goes back to sleep.

He is talking like crazy these days!

Oh gosh. I had no idea. May choose to be willfully ignorant about this fact....
Yeah, me too... He's a wiggly worm on the floor!
  • When she yells back at me and delivers a very passionate though incomprehensible argument as to why she should be allowed to do something I stopped her from.

He's pretty set on his own schedule and doesn't vary much from it.

Now, if my 3 year would go upstairs for a nap when he's tired, I would be in heaven! ;-)

I love the arguments, spoken in baby gibberish!

If I take too long to get to LO after he wakes up, he gives me an earful.
  • When he starts telling me what he wants to eat by pointing to food on the table. And when i offer him the wrong thing he shakes his head and says "nah" in a very frustrated tone.

Yes! This started at our house in the last few days too! I love it.
  • When he was trying to leave the house today. He can't even walk alone yet. So slow down buddy!
