Damn I'm lonely!

My days have been pretty uneventful lately. SO has been working crazy hours & DS1 is in all day kindergarten. I had to quit my job due to the dangerous nature of the job. I've also been put on high risk due to my DS1 being premature. All of my friends have day jobs & my family is pretty busy too! I've just been cleaning & walking the dog to stay active. Can't wait until summer so I can get more active. Sorry for the vent lol. Just a bored pregnant chick rant :-w

I have moments of being lonely too, but I think it's just hormones getting to me.

Sign up for Michaels.com email list. They send out craft ideas, you can buy the supplies at any craft store and their ideas are usually pretty easy to do! Pinterest is also great for crafts, recipes, baby ideas

No need to say sorry. I am a SAHM and to be honest, sometimes its one of the loneliest jobs. I LOVE my girls and I really 100% LOVE being home - but you do sacrifice adult interaction unless you are lucky enough to have friends who are in the same position. I am not haha. We just try to keep busy and I make a point to talk to other moms and people while out and about.
Maybe a low key class?

@19gem87 I'm not working at the moment either hun, hubby at work and 7 yr old in school.
Just me and the dog lol. I can't walk her at the mo, she's to strong.

See if there are some meetup/volenteer groups in the area? I'm not sure what part of the country you're in but in the South we're gearing up for spring and summer harvests. You could start a garden or even volunteer at an organic farm (I did this once). The best ones give you a basket of food to take home at the end of the day if you're up for that sort of thing.

I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling lonely. My so called friends don't even text me just to chat and my husband is so caught up on work, when he's home it still feels like I'm alone. Our conversations sick on my part because I have nothing exciting about my day. I actually feel lame and as much as I actually want to cry out on Facebook about it, (which would make me more lame) I don't because then you just get fake people being nosy or rude people saying you just want attention- which isn't that what Facebook is really all about lol

Thank you ladies. It may seem ideal lol but it's boring! And because I had to leave my job we are now short on income due to SO being the only one working. I appreciate all of your ideas & just knowing you're all here for support. Makes me feel much better! I'm also here for all of you

Definitely going to look into that as well. My aunt has a very elderly dog & since she is a doctor she is gone most of the day. I've actually enjoyed just spending time with her. They live less than a mile away so it's very convenient. She also has a home theater with recliners that are seriously the best. I can bring my dog too. Nothing like free movies & quality time with the pups. I'm definitely going to start utilizing this awesome perk.
