About a month ago, my kids and DH came down with a cold. I didn't get any symptoms. However, a few days later I developed a rash that spread all over my body. I saw my allergist, spoke to my OB, and saw a dermatologist. They were all perplexed. A couple of days later, I saw my family practioner to rule out strep (negative) and he just concluded that it was a virus. It lasted two weeks and was miserable.
I'd ca your OB and maybe see a family Dr if it doesn't clear up.
I'm going with hedgewitch curse. In all seriousness, my skin is much more sensitive right now. I hive out over such random things. And the insides of my forearms are a pretty common place. I dunno if yours are itching or not, but when it happens to me I itch like mad there, and then it spreads.
I recently had an itchy rash all over my legs and it freaked me out. I thought it might be onset of PUPPS. I called my doctor and she said to rub hydrocortizone all over my legs. She said that rashes are common and that she'd only be concerned if I had a rash on my bump. I'd call your doctor and explain your rash and see what he/she recommends.
I had a rash that was just about everywhere (back, hands, belly, and boobs). We finally changed our detergent, stopped using fabric softener, changed my body wash to dove sensitive, started using a different lotion, and I started taking Claritin (after I saw my doctor) and it got better. It's starting to come back but my husband used fabric softener when he did the laundry this weekend. Your body does weird things when you're pregnant. Talk to you doctor To be sure it's nothing serious, but if they can't give you much advice you might have to change some of the things you are using.
I had the same exact thing happen to me as the OP. My dietitian told me that my skin was reacting to mango. At the time I was using a mango soap. As soon as i changed my soap, the rash went away. Same thing happened to my best friend as well.
Re: red rash like bumps?
ETA: seriously I have no idea, I got a rash from my sunscreen. Maybe your skin is more sensitive right now?
