I have two little girls. This baby will make 3 children. In an ideal world I would choose to have 4 or 5 kids, but I don't know if we will actively pursue anymore after this one.
We have a 6 yr old son and a 2 yr old daughter. This baby is a boy and will be our third and last. This was a surprise baby so we are definitely done after this one.
We have three boys, 11 & 10 year old ID twins. This baby was a surprise to say the least. I'm certain it's another boy. In an ideal world I would have had two girls...
This is my first, and I'll turn 37 at the halfway point of the pregnancy. The doctor mentioned that I should try to have the second one soon after, because of my age. I'll have to ask him how soon he had in mind. Now that my pregnancy symptoms have really kicked in, I'm trying to imagine adding breastfeeding and taking care of an infant to all of this. Not to mention the idea of getting pregnant before my body has had a chance to fully recover. (I know I'm getting ahead of myself, but I keep wondering about it...)

I have a 21-month-old boy and a girl due any day. We said that if we had one of each, we'd discuss the option of a third child after we got used to two. However, this pregnancy has been so difficult for me that I can't forsee any planned pregnancy in the future. DH would disagree........
This is my second child - we have a 5 yo DS too. I will be 40 when this baby arrives. I would love another one but not sure that it's really in the cards for us. We were not planning on having such a large age difference but life does not always work out as planned.
So this is my 8th! yes 8th. I will have 5 boys when this one comes and 3 girls. I have children from age 16 to 1 1/2 years old (and in case you are wondering, yes all are from the same dad) (also, no I didn't get started real young either!) basically about every 2 years. I would be fine with an infinite number more. I love pregnancy and childbirth and babies and children and can't imagine what my life would be like with a household full.
This will be our first, and I'm assuming our last. Partly because of our age (we are both 37) and partly because of finances - yikes, babies are expensive!

You so are not kidding, lol! I am on a high-deductible insurance plan and, since our LO was not really planned, we didn't plan for her financially. Fortunately, the fiance makes a good wage and, as a special needs teacher, my profession is always in demand so we'll be able to make it work.
This is our first and we're undecided...DH would like to be OAD and I'm Ok with that - since we're older and more set in our ways, we both like that having only one will be the least disruptive and make it easier to continue to travel and stuff. But I've warned him that I've seen too many stories from women convinced they are OAD... then quickly change their mind after the first

I always thought having two would be easier than one, because they can play with each other. My DH has a stepson from a previous marriage so I see how bored and antsy kids get by themselves, whereas my two nephews entertain each other all day.

Yeah having a big family definately keeps things from being boring. Do your children go to a brick and mortar school or do they stay home for school? Mine are in a public online school. So I don't have to come up with curriculums and do things like buy books. But they don't really have any/much contact with teachers etc. I lead their education.
All my school aged children are in public schools and 4 separate schools as well. My oldest is graduating high school this year and she's in French immersion so goes to a different school then my second who's in grade 10. I have one in middle school grade 7 and one in senior kindergarten. My 4 year old starts in September so at least I'll have 2 in the same school lol. Wow I applaud you taking charge and home schooling I won't lie I enjoy a little break from all the noise during the day lol. Summer should be fun lol
This is my 4th and last. 3 girls counting the bump and one precocious boy. I'm having my tubes tied, burned, cut out,ect...whatever it takes! I'm too old for this s**t! LOL )
I have 5 plus 1 due may 10-8-6 girls 3-1 boys no idea what sex next child is. Maybe 1 or 2 more depends what big fella upstairs has instore time will tell. 38 now so will go with the flow.
I have a two year old son and this is out second baby. Still don't know what is it beacuse I'm only 6w. If We can deal with two we are going for a third one. That would be perfect.
I m 36 having baby 6. I have 4 boys and 1 girl ranging from 16-3. Life is good having a big family. I was raised in a large family. My mom had 6 of us too.
I'm 39 and this is our first. My husband has two sons in their twenties. He also has a step- son and daughter in their twenties. His oldest just graduated from college last Saturday and we are 18 weeks with our baby boy!
This will be my third and the fourth together with DH. DS is 16, SD is 15, DD is 18 mos and we don't know the sex of this one yet. We're probably going to be done after this one.
Good for you! I have 11 and also same daddy for all ( my sweet hubby) I just turned 44 a few days before I found out I'm pregnant so I am bracing myself for all the negative comments when we let the news out at same time I am loving being pregnant again and super excited
