So I had my blood work done yesterday and I am 4 weeks 2 days today. MY Progesterone was at a 36.9- the doctor said it was wonderful but I read that this high this early could be multiples? Any ideas?
High progesterone can be a sign of multiples, but I agree with blams05 that 36.9 might not be considered that high (but I'm not a medical professional! ). I was 109 at 4 weeks and the Dr. didn't seem alarmed.

Are you sure you guys are talking about progesterone and not hcg? 36.9 is pretty high, and I doubt you were in the 100s or maybe you're using a different measurement. I have no idea what that says about multiples, though.

Yeah, haha but now I'm starting to wonder! My HCG was 991, then 1950. I will be asking my dr. at the next appointment...however now I'm getting curious...haha

HCG levels vary from woman to woman. I had blood work done at 3 weeks and my HCG was 1872. I thought possible twins because it was so high and I have 2 year old bb twins. Doctor had me in right away for an ultra sound because he thought I was farther along. I knew I was only 3 weeks because I knew the only possible date of conception. Turns out my levels are high. Just one baby in the ultra sound, only one heart beat, and the baby was too small to measure (weeks).
Thank you all! I guess we will see, the Dr thought it was great to have there so as long as I have a healthy little one (or I guess it could be two!) I will take it!
I just had my progesterone drawn yesterday at 4w2d and it was 47. I won't have an u/s for 2 weeks or so. Multiples don't run in mine or DH family but that would be awesome
