My daughter will NOT take milk out of a sippy cup. She refuses! Only water. Does anyone have any suggestions? I feel we have tried everything, but maybe someone has better ideas?
What kind of sippy cup are you using? Hard hard or soft tops? I found that the nuby sippy cups worked good for switching over, and now we can use anything.
We are having the exact same problem. I tried refusing all bottles for a while but feel like she just got dehydrated. Now we do a morning and evening bottle of milk but send her to daycare with only sippys. I figure at some point she will transition completely but right now she is being stubborn. Weekends we follow the same routine and only give sippys during the day, We always make sure milk is an option but she will only drink water in small amounts from a sippy at this point. We try all kinds of cups, soft tip hard tip, straw cups... so far she like the hard tip sippys the best but will drink from all of them at one point or another. Our daughter is 16 months old.
We started the Nuk soft tip cup at 4 months because it had handles and he really wanted to hold his bottles on his own. It seemed similar to the bottle nipples so I don't think he really noticed.
He will not drink anything out of a hard top cup but doesn't care if the milk is in the Nuk cup or bottle.

Maybe try one like that!
