Does anyone know about the average size for babies by months?

Does anyone know about the average size for babies by months? I was trying to see about how many diapers a baby use in a day and kinda at what month or age will the baby need to move to size 2 diapers.  I seen that the norm for newborn babies are 8-10 diapers a day, but when is the baby not a newborn anymore?

I know I can never get enough of wipes, but I'm just wondering on diapers about how many to purchase or we will need before baby is born. I only will prob get a couple newborn diapers....Not many, I'd rather have less newborn than more than enough. We had a shower this past weekend and no one bought newborn diapers, and are having a shower this weekend again with my family. Hopefully, we'll get more diapers size 1 and wipes, bottles, bath stuff, and more...

I found this blog post that shoud be helpful. My son was 6lbs 5 oz at birth and was in newborn diapers for about a month.

I put one package for new born on my registry bc who knows how big the baby may be, and I'd rather get more of the bigger sizes and store it as ill know those will be used. My friend just had a 12 lb baby so she bypassed new born size and size 1 bc it's kinda tight on her little one. Don't go too crazy on diapers, get one package, maybe two, if you know the baby will be within the nb size when born.
