My week should be ok. The only thing I'm worried about is the 3 year old I sit for just spent the past week in Alabama for a death in the family. I know her mom and dad have had a rough time, I just hope the stress of that hasn't rubbed off on her. I'm just going to have to keep my house as calm as possible to help her get back to normal. Other than that I should have a good week, no cakes just kiddies this week.
Now I have to go make some corned beef hash with my leftovers from last night.
I am looking forward to a quiet week. My parents were in town for two weeks and DH and I had back-to-back doctors' appointments for those weeks, which means I had to stay odd hours at work to make up the time. This past weekend was crazy with multiple family birthdays and multiple parties. Breathing room is where this week is at. Well, that and prepping taxes so my CPA doesn't have a nervous breakdown.
@hooligans4 I love leftovers. Everything tastes better the next day. Or maybe everything tastes better when you didn't have to do any work right before you got to eat it. ;-)
This is the week we make the decision about IVF.. we have our consult tomorrow with my RE to work out the timing and than on Wednesday DH has an appt for a second opinion with a new male infertility specialist.
I have off on Wednesday so I am making our corned beef a day late.. and also @hooligans4 Irish Soda Bread!
This week should be alright for me. Work should be pretty chill as we're about to start a big project next week, so just finishing up the old stuff. A bunch of meetings plus tutoring. Personally I've got my HSG wed. morning. Hoping it's not too painful.
Had a great conversation with an old colleague last night who is now the director of a place I want to work, so I feel excited about that. Need to clean up my resume and send to her and begin the process of interviewing, etc. Also need to make a dress for my friend's baby shower in two weeks. Was really hoping to be pregnant by then, but it didn't happen. She's a really good friend (going to ny for it) so it shouldn't be too painful, but still really wanted to have news for them when I went.

The week here is totally boring but it looks like the weather is officially changing over to spring. So nice to get outside.
@hooligans4 and @OldNell I love leftovers too. I just made three crockpot freezer meals- dinner is done . (One is for a good friend who will likely be delivering this week). I'm really happy for her but it makes me a bit sad inside.
Nothing too crazy at work this week - thank goodness. We are still in packing mode. Just moving everything over little by little this week and hoping to sleep in the new house on Saturday.
The weather is supposed to be really nice this week so I'm going to try to get us outside a lot and forget about the fact that I just had a huge disappointment. Hopefully this insane PMS will get better so I can enjoy myself. My h has a really busy week so I guess we won't have any family time.
On a positive note, my h lost his wedding ring over a year ago and yesterday, after not only more than a year going by but also a big move to another state, his ring fell out of the couch. Literally fell out of the bottom of the couch.
Me:41, DH:41 Positive for MTHFR mutations- one copy C677T, one copy A1298C. One daughter born on Thanksgiving in 2013. Six losses.
GuennieOmg, I'm laughing thinking about the wedding ring just falling out of the couch. That's crazy!

Ya, I still can't believe it survived the move! I'm so happy though because it's a unique ring I had bought him from Etsy. It has an anchor on it to match the anchor tattoo I got on my ring finger.

Good luck at your appointment @Cupcakegal930 My husband had a lot of follow up SA and we ended up doing ICSI with the IVF, and that worked well. @Dwmmwd hope your HSG goes well! Mine went well, but my obgyn suggested I take aspirin before, which I did. I go to Cornell in NYC. @hooligans4, I actually don't like corned beef, but I make some really good roasted Yukon Gold potatoes. We're going to my sisters for dinner and I'll be bringing green chocolate chip cookies which I'm sure will be a hit with the little ones.
A pretty busy work week ahead. Partially just busy and partially because i just have a week and half until i am away from the office for 3+ weeks (for a conference and then taking time time off for our out of town ivf).
@cupcakegal930 -- good luck with your appointments this week.
Hope everyone celebrating St. Patrick's Day enjoys their meals! We celebrated Saturday, but i saved leftovers for tomorrow
