Big baby and extra fluid at 29 weeks

This is my first baby.  I am 29 weeks today.  I went to the doctor on Friday for a growth scan since my fundal measurement was 5 cm bigger than normal at my last appointment.  Baby was measuring 3 lbs. 15 oz. on Friday, which put him at the 89th percentile, so my doctor said that I would be coming in every two weeks and having an ultrasound each time to monitor how big he is getting.  I was a 9 lb. 2 oz. baby and my husband was a 9 lb. 6 oz. baby, so we figured that Jackson was going to be big.  Once we left the dr. office, we walked over to Labor and Delivery to check out where it was.  Well my doctor called and needed to schedule weekly NSTs and ultrasounds to check on baby.  I guess when he looked at the last page of the growth scan report, I had extra fluid around Jackson.  So not only is Jackson measuring big, but now there is extra fluid.  Anyone have anything similar happen around 29 weeks?  Thanks.
