Someone please confirm whether I can eat the queso at Qdoba!! It's not white, but wasn't sure. I realize this may be a silly question, but it's all I think about. It's on my question list for OB but I'm tired of waiting.
I'm sure it's okay. I had queso fresco at a mex restaurant with my last pregnancy and it was fine. Most cheeses in America are pasturized. You can always ask to be sure.
You can eat it, you just can't have soft cheeses like feta and blue cheese. There are more than those 2 but I don't remember, I don't eat soft cheeses.
You can even eat soft cheese, as long as it is pasturized. Most foods in the US are, so steer clear of imported cheeses. If you are really worried about it check in with your doctor.

Exactly! I had super soft, creamy goat cheese on my sandwich tonight and it was amazing!
