Anyone wave the white flag and leave work yet?

Due 5/10 and working until 4/10. I've only got 6 actual work days left!! I'm being forced to take vacation before my mat leave and I was disappointed to have to go off early at the beginning of my pregnancy but now, at 34 weeks I'm thrilled! I can hardly wait!

My last shift was yesterday, officially start maternity leave march 31st.

So I waved the white flag!

Have 2 months still before baby comes, then after that, a long time still on leave. I wonder when I'll get bored before the baby comes lol

I'm due 5/20 but I stopped working 3/27 I'm just plain tired!

I'm due 5/30, hoping to work right until 5/29.  I teach high school.  My OB seems to think I'll change my mind, since I do have a bit of a commute, but I've felt really good so far, and still am, so we'll see.  I can always change the date.  I teach high school, so I can sit or move about as I need to.

To other HS teachers out there- the worst part for me was honestly sitting at my desk and timing contractions while teaching or worrying that my water would break in front of a bunch of 16 yo. All while staying calm. Lol.

With my first 2, I left at 36.5 weeks. This one I've been on and off bed rest for last 3 weeks. Pretty sure this is my last week at work. The doc doesn't seem to be enthusiastic about me continuing. (But it's finals week and I asked to finish this quarter. We also have good Friday off- so hoping it's not horrible.) by then I'll be 35 wks

I am a nurse and work 12 hour days..up at 5 am and home at 8:00 pm. My due date is May 8th and I plan on stopping work on April 25th. So only about another month of work I am 34 weeks!

I would love to but I am going to work up until my due date unless there are complications. I want to spend as much of my leave as I can with baby. I am so looking forward to having the Summer off! It's getting more and more difficult to work every day.

I'm 32 weeks and will not work at all during May, possibly from 3rd week of April. Very surprised to hear so many working (or trying to) to full term. Am fairly sure it's because of mat leaves/pay...just hope you can book off via doctor recommendation if you need to

Due May 31st working until the 29th. I'm a nurse working 12 hour shifts in an emergency department. Won't be disappointed if I go a little early

I'm a RN and planned on working up until the day like I did with my daughter. I'm due 5-7 but at 33 weeks this baby had different plans. I went into premature labor and am now stuck on bedrest. I am the main provider of my family and this has hit hard financially for us. I wish I could go back to work. Laying around all day is driving me nuts! I do have a 3 year old that helps they days go faster but sometimes she's more stress than my work would be! I get to go back part time at 36 weeks which is very exciting for me.

I actually got laid off when I was 5 weeks pregnant. Since I'm a FTM we just decided I would be a stay at home preggo in addition to a future SAHM. Luckily DH makes enough to support us both, but I've been going a little stir crazy being home all day.

3 more weeks left of work. I am already starting to work on my sub plans!!! I am excited to be done for the year!! But I will be very anxious to meet my new 3rd graders next year!

I plan to work up until the day I absolutely can't, I'm a waitress and only get 6 weeks unpaid maternity leave since I don't qualify for FMLA because of my part time hours while in school.

My doctor has said nothing about bed rest or stopping working, will that come about soon? I'm 35 weeks.

I'm due 5/5/15 too! With my first baby So I'm 35weeks, I went on part time FMLA about a week ago because my baby decided to set up camp on my sciatic nerve. I'm supposed to work 3days a week until she's born but i keep finding it harder and harder to be on my feet and walk all day working at a hospital, I'm thinking about going to full time leave once I hit 36weeks and I have my final ultrasound.
