my husband and I cannot decide on a middle name for our son (to be born June 10th). His first name will be Xander, last name is similar to Longenwater. We have a few family names we are thinking of, but I'm open to anything that sounds good. Here's what we're thinking:
Xander Lee (daddy's middle name)
Xander Ray (papas middle name)
Xander David (uncles name)
Xander Alex (4 year old sister picked this one and we strangely like it)
Xander Allen (papas name)
Any input is appreciated! Thank you!
Re: Middle name- help!
Its a tradition in my husband's family to use the dads first name as the middle. We didn't do this bc I had twin boys (who would I choose to have that). Or another tradition is using your maiden name as the middle.
Personally, I feel that the middle name should have signifigance (just my preference). One of my sons is named after DHs maternal grandfather, and my other is named after my Dad. My daughter will either be our sisters (both have the same name) or a close family friend that was like a grandmother to me.
Xander Ray (papas middle name) - This one is ok
Xander David (uncles name) - seems like a mouthful
Xander Alex (4 year old sister picked this one and we strangely like it) - Cute that sister picked it but maybe too many x's?
Xander Allen (papas name) - cute
