Hello Ladies,
Here's the scoop. As many of you know, I PPROM-ed with my twin girls at 21w3d and stayed at the hospital on bedrest until 25w5d. My little one, Fiona Skye, just couldn't wait to come out and she was breach even though Chloe Mae was holding strong. So, they did an emergency C-section to save the twins on March 1st. Scary scary day. I was put under general anesthesia and the girls were whisked off to the NICU. DH only saw them in the hall for a few seconds and I didn't get to see them until the next day. I was on some very strong pain meds and they made me loopy. Fiona weighed 1lb, 4oz and Chloe weighed 1lb, 12oz at birth.
One very kind nurse wheeled me to the NICU to see my girls in their incubators. The first time I saw them was tough and I just cried a lot to see all the tubes and IV's in my babies. NICU is a stressful, painful, slow journey but DH and I are somehow holding up.
Today, our girls are 12 days old (27w3d gestational age) and it's truly a roller coaster. But they're holding on for the ride.
Some of the downs: Fiona Skye is a tiny fighter and seems to be fighting everything: two cysts were discovered in her brain after an US. They may go away on their own or they may be a concern down the road. Nothing we can do about it right now. Also, she will needs meds or surgery soon to correct a PDA in her heart. A flap in her heart hasn't closed yet and it's causing all her gases (oxygen) to drop often. She also has a heart murmur. Chloe has the same PDA but it's smaller. Both girls have breathing tubes and PICC lines and even another IV on the other hand or foot.
Some of the ups: Chloe Mae started taking breast milk through a tiny feeding tube and is tolerating it well. A few days later, Fiona Skye started taking breast milk the same way and tolerates it. I changed Chloe's diaper a few days ago (it's so little that it fits in the palm of my hand!) and she finally pooped! Still waiting on Fiona to poop. Since both girls are under lights to regulate their bilirubin, they have to wear eye protection, but 4 times a day they turn the lights off, and take off the sunglasses for hands-on time. Two days ago, Chloe opened both of her beautiful eyes and we shared a moment. Her oxygen level even increased at that time. Fiona is starting to open her left eye. I can't wait.
I came home from the hospital on March 4th and make daily trips back to spend time with my girls. Thank you all for your love and support. I'll keep updating on this thread.

Tubes clear, S.A came back low motility but high count
About to switch to injectables w/femara, did one last cycle with just femara & an IUI with ovidrel- stupid motility was fantastic in the sample, but count was 700,000 AFTER wash! Had to sign a paper to even still do IUI- BFFP (big fat freaking positive) Go figure!
1st Beta 13dpiui 54, 2nd beta 48 hours later 115, 3rd beta 48 hours later 310, 4th beta 72 hours later 1748.

Surprise natural bfp (4 days before donor is signed). Beta #1 at 9dpo: 51.8, 2nd beta: 195 (25 hours doubling) @11dpo. 3rd beta (12/15): 516 (35 hrs doubling) 4th beta(12/17): 895 (58 hours doubling) 5th beta(12/19): 2120. U/S at 5w0d(12/22): one gestational sac with yolk sac. U/S #2 (6w0d)12/29. One little bean measuring 6w0d with HR 124. 3rd u/s(1/4)7w0d: baby measuring 7w2d. Baby Will born 8/18. He's perfect.
pregnant after round 2 of IVF. Transferred 2 embryos and (surprise!) was pregnant with triplets. Identicals passed at 8 and 10 weeks. Still have one healthy baby boy with EDD of July 30!

Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive. Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

November 6th 1st Appointment with RE: diagnosed with severe MFI
Testing to try to determine a cause & possible treatment for MFI
CD 3 blood work for me. RE does not want to repeat my HSG/lap at this point,
but may want to before moving forward with any fertility treatments.
After seeing the uro, DH is currently taking lots of supplements and clomid to try to boost his count. We will have a repeat SA in February to see if it works.
Follow up SA numbers are: Count= 4 million, Motility= 40%, Morphology= 1%
Uro wants us to have another follow up SA 5/9 to see if we see further improvement than we are back to the RE to make a game plan.
SA 5/9/2014 Count: 12 Million, Motility: 60%, and Morphology 2%. We will be doing iui #1 in late June
IUI #1 6/28 clomid + ovidrel, post wash count 3 million total sperm= BFN
IUI # 2 7/21 clomid+ ovidrel. post wash count 900,000 total sperm= BFN
IVF planned for early November- cancelled due to cyst
