Peanut butter

Is all peanut butter pasteurized? I can't find anything on Adam's Natural peanut butter. Just some general info that some natural peanut butters aren't pasteurized but I am not sure. Anyone able to weigh in?

    Sorry that I can't answer your question, but I have been eating Trader Joe's brand peanut butter a lot lately so I hope it's safe!

    I have no idea either, but my lunch was peanut butter on a banana, followed by spoonfuls of peanut butter. I eat JIF PB.

    Peanut butter is fine. Some honeys are not pasteurized but only the ones that you would get at a farmers market or the raw ones.

    Adam's has to be refrigerated so that was my flag. ...I just can't find an answer. ..

    Not sure? But this just made me go get a tablespoon on peanut butter ;-) I would call the company tomorrow if you are really worried.

    Most peanut butters are pasteurized, even if they require refrigeration, but I also agree that you should call the company if you want to be sure.
