Baby shower games?

help!! I need some ideas for my baby shower games, what is fun???

My cousin suggested the belly strung, bingo, and a new one I never heard of baby dolla holla where every time someone says baby I get a dolla!!!!

What is everyone doing doe their games?

Last baby shower I went to we played 'Blindfolded Diaper Changing' with dolls. Fastest person wins, it was really funny. Also another one was blindfolded baby food tasting (kinda gross but funny) and whoever guesses what the baby foods are wins a prize

We just did "price is right" and some blindfolded cotton ball game. The cotton ball game was the most fun. I found a lot of ideas on Pinterest.

No games. Most grown women dont' really like or need silly games.

And no- absolutely do NOT make people pay you $$ if they say "baby".

If you must do games, try to find games that don't put the guests on the spot or make them uncomfortable. Making people diaper a baby blindfolded may be hilarious for some guests, but others will find it very annoying and embarrassing. Eating baby food and guessing the flavor is just gross. Does anyone really WANT to do this? No. Why punish the guests who have given up their time and money to support the MTB by making them uncomfortable?

Gift bingo is a nice game that can be played while the MTB opens her gifts. It doesn't require anyone to do anything embarrassing in public. It doesn't humiliate the MTB or the guests.

I think it's an area where you have to mindful that you're planning for a range of guests, and not everyone is into the same thing.

A friend of mine did the "Baby Dolla Holla" game. She made over $200. I had hoped she would spend it on diapers but her husband spent it all on ciroc vodka. It was sad.

Oh that is awful! Maybe if someone's husband has a drinking problem they could ask every one to bring diapers? OH! I picked all the gifts we didn't have money for on our baby registry. I don't think I picked anything that was really cheap. That helped a ton too! Would she do that if the have another baby?

How would you word that on the shower invite? Bring diapers because my husband likes the alch? Haha.

Yeah, she didn't get any of the 4mom's stuff and was pissed. She actually left the shower early which I thought was catty of her. Maybe with the next baby, she will be more calm. I think they are TTC now. Lord knows she needs another shower because they sold everything they had before the poor baby turned one.

I feel like I'm running this girl in the ground but she had books too. She sent out a list of books she wanted. She also asked no one to write in them until they left the shower in case she got two. She's a real peesh.

I generally don't have much cash in my wallet (pay credit for everything) and would not expect to bring any in addition to the expensive gift I had already bought and paid for. I would be insulted and put on the spot if asked for cash in any way at a baby shower. Not fun for the guests at all!

At my shower we did one where their were children's book titles written in a different form and you had to guess the correct title in a certain amount of time (ie: Pleasant Slumber Celestial Orb was Goodnight moon) and one where guests had three minutes to make as many baby names as possible out of the letters in my first and last name. At a friends shower we played Scategories, but the categories were all baby-related.
