for fun - what music does your baby like?

I've noticed that DD consistently kicks when certain songs are playing. I'm choosing to interpret this as a sign that she likes them. No clue if there's any scientific data to back this up, but she IS able to hear stuff at this point and the fact that she kicks during specific songs is good enough verification for me! So, with that as my basis, my baby loves John Mayer, Jack Johnson, and the kid's song "The Window" by the band Trout Fishing in America (look it up if you don't know it, super cute/funny take on nursery rhymes!).

What music do you think your baby likes?

Again: I have NO idea if this is legit, just a fun thing that makes me feel like I'm bonding with baby

I think all music puts this little man to sleep! He decides to have dance parties when it's quiet. Hopefully it isn't like that in the future or I'm in trouble!

Last night LO was having a blast bouncing around while House of the Rising Sun was playing. It's actually one of my favorite songs, I listen to it frequently or sing it out loud sometimes.

I recorded myself singing in the car a while ago, Sam Smith "Lay me Down." Sometimes I play it for baby (hold it to my belly) & she starts kicking I'm taking that to mean she likes it!

I'm a piano teacher and she will start kicking when the kids play certain songs. And I've picked out her lullaby (lullaby by Billy Joel), and I play it for her constantly. Hopefully she'll start reacting to that soon.

My LO loves Daft Punk lol. It's oh my me and DH favorite artists too which is interesting. But the baby goes banana sandwich when ever on of their songs is playing.

DD = Dear Daughter

DH = Dear Husband

LO = Little One

Another frequent abbreviation is DS for Dear Son.
