Thoughts? Is it too sing-songy? I already have a Susannah, is that just too much? I mean we do live in the South...

    It's not awful. You could call her Maggie =)

    I recently read.that a French couple tried to name their child nutella. =))

    I think I sort of love it. It's just different enough but not too over the top. Paired with Savannah is a bit of a mouthful, unless you use nicknames. I personally love Nia as a nickname. Is there a middle name?

    Not a fan. I wasn't aware this became a name. If you want the nickname Maggie, name her Margaret. It's a fantastic name and pairs well with Susannah (which I adore BTW).

    Thanks for all the input! I actually really dislike Maggie as a name/nickname and it does feel a little unavoidable with the name Magnolia.

    I think if you don't like Maggie you shouldn't use Magnolia.  Unless you start calling her Noli from day one (or some other nn) Maggie will definitely happen.  If you can get learn to like it though, I think it's actually kind of cute.  There are many many worse names than Magnolia - lots of names come from nature - why not?

    Very pretty tree, not sure if it's right on a human.  That said, it's not made up, or something your child will have to spell for everyone.  I think I like it.
