Middle Name

Hi All - Can I get some help?  When we had our son his name came fairly easy for us but with our daughter I'm starting to think that she just won't have a middle name.  Thus far we haven't found anything that we LOVE for her middle name.  We are set on the first name of Eleanor, we both love it but just haven't landed on a good combo for a middle name.  My thoughts are to go for something that is one or two syllables and more modern.  Our last name is long and her first name has an old time feeling to it.  With that being said I'm open to any suggestions.  What do you ladies have in mind?  Any suggestions?

  • I LOVE Eleanor! Most of the middle names I like with it are also classic/old time feeling though.

Here is a list of some of my one-syllable faves as well as some more modern options:

    Eleanor Mae
    Eleanor Rose
    Eleanor Jane
    Eleanor Blair
    Eleanor Paige
    Eleanor June
    Eleanor Brynn
    Eleanor Claire
    Eleanor Jade

Jane. Willa. Quinn. Olivia. Jade. Violet. Maeve. Grace. Noelle.
  • Just don't giver her a middle name. It's not required.

I don't have a middle name. My first name is nine letters and my maiden surname was five. It wasn't a big deal at all. Eleanor is a strong name that can survive without a middle name.
