Favorite smoothies

Hey guys! I live in a small town but have been craving smoothies ! Share your fav smoothie recipes!!!
This one I made this morning was pretty simple

Pineapple
Gala Apple
Strawberry yogurt
Splash of milk
Ice

    Frozen blueberries
    A smidge of frozen rasberries
    Almond milk
    Chia seeds hemp seeds
    Honey
    Oats

    Seriously my favorite smoothie i knocked it off from our local smoothie shop
  • Oooh that sounds good! I never thought to add oats! Steel cut oats cooked or ? Just regular quick oats uncooked?
  • 1.5 cups milk
    .5 cup frozen blackberries
    .5 cup frozen blueberries
    .5 cup frozen raspberries
    .5 cup frozen strawberries
    2 Tbsp lemonade concentrate
    1 Tbsp sugar
    .5 tsp vanilla

    Makes enough for me and DH to each have one. I usually just get the bag of mixed berries from the freezer section of the grocery store and put 2 cups of it in the blender. I prefer fresh fruit, but frozen is much more affordable!

  • My smoothie is fresh spinach, unsweetened almond milk, frozen berries, 1/2 banana, whey protein powder.

    I definitely prefer making my ownso I know what is going in my body.
  • I just made this peanut butter banana smoothie yesterday and it was delicious!  I used rice milk instead of soy and added a dash of cinnamon:


    ...Like dessert for breakfast :)
  • Pea protein powder, frozen bananas, frozen strawberries, water, and Miralax. Healthy, simple, and keeps it all movin!
  • Banana, pineapple (usually frozen), original almond milk, quick oats, spinach.
  • Vanilla yogurt
    Oats
    Grapes
    Splash Of grape or berry juice
    Ice

    SO yummy!

    Vanilla yogurt or actually I used a banillia one from stoney field yummy and local for me!

    Mango
    Strawberries
    Small banana
    2 small clementines (out of oranges)
    Ice
    Splash of water

    It is kinda a orange color and delicious, my 8yo daughter loves it too!
  • I've been doing frozen mango, frozen peaches, spinach, vanilla almond milk, Greek yogurt and a splash of orange juice bc I find smoothies need some acidity. I don't like oats in mine but I'm a weird texture person. I also like to make frozen strawberry and banana ones with chocolate almond or coconut milk. Sometimes I add some vegan protein powder but I find I get so full if I do that.
  • Add frozen pineapples to just about any smoothie ... You will not be disappointed!
  • Awesome thread! I've been doing OJ, yogurt, and berries but may try some of these! You all put the oats in as is, right? No cooking first?
  • I forgot about banana choc pb smoothies!!!!! Those are the best especially because my son thinks they are milkshakes!

  • Greek vanilla yogurt

    frozen mixed berries

    1/2 large honeycrisp apple

    1/2 banana

    ground flaxseed

    v8 splash (berry flavor)

    Nope, no cooking, just dump 'em right in and it adds a nice flavor/ filling aspect.

  • You guys. This thread got me into a smoothie mood, so earlier today for my midday snack / meal / whatever I chopped up some strawberries, an orange, a banana, poured in some milk, a handful of oats, some ice. Plugged in the blender, hit the button, and brrp! Nothin. NOOO!!!! Disassemble, inspect, try again. Brrp! Nothin. Bottom line, the base was working, the little stub that connects to the mixing cup would turn, but the blade mechanism inside the cup was stuck in place. Could not unstick them. But I wasn't giving up on this! So... I tried to blend it with a hand mixer. =))    I ended up with strawberry flavored milk with ice cubes and chunks of beat up fruit swimming around in it.

    Yeah, someone made a trip to the store this afternoon and has a shiny new blender! Just thought you might like a laugh at my expense

  • Probably not the point of this thread but now I just want a Shamrock Shake! :D
  • I use a hand held blender, I find it works wayyyyy better than a regular blender and it's nothing to wash up.
  • I've been doing either pinapple or strawberry bananna. I use my nutribullet and it works great. I don't do milk or soy so I use apple juice and strawberry yogurt. I put frozen and fresh strawberrys and a bananna. For the pinapple I put plain yogurt and frozen pinapple. Supper easy and yummy.
  • U guys are making me hungry. I crave smoothies all day I got a smoothie maker for my bday. I use strawberry yogurt apple juice strawberry sliced up and a banana. I sometimes add cranberry applesauce. Yum! Mix up and enjoy!
