We used tommy tippie with DD but I didn't really love them. I've been contemplating munchkin or born free. Anyone have any experience with them?
I'll be nursing for a while and pumping. I do have madela bottles too. But when I do switch over to formula I'll need bottles. I nursed DD until about 9 mo and my supply just seemed to not support her anymore.
No experience with Born Free or Munchkin. DD did best with Dr. Browns, so after trying a few brands we bought a lot of Dr. Browns. Sure hope this kid likes them, too!
I've been using Born Free with DD and like them well enough. Plastic is very thick and takes longer to warm up, which was my only complaint. They also have interchangeable tops for when child transitions to sippy cup, which is nice. I also used Playtex disposable liners when both kids were very young, but I was BFing and that wasn't as often. I liked those a lot but not as environmentally friendly.

I read a lot today about the munchkin latch and reviews were either great or horrible. Sounds like they leak. Ruled that one out! Born free glass also had a lot of reviews about the glass cracking when heating. Ill have to look into Dr Browns!
i havent used bottles but some of my friends have and more than one have had babies that are very picky and will only use a certain type of bottle nipple. My friends have had large supplies of certain type bottles and had to go and buy one of many kinds to find one that baby would like...and then stock up on that type. It might be wise to not buy a real big supply of anything right away and kind of wait and see if you get a picky baby!
