Induced by cytotec?

I have to get induced on Tuesday because of pregnancy complications. They want to use cytotec on me to ripen my cervix first. I've heard horrible things about that medicine. Has anyone used it before, and what was your experience?

    No personal experience. I would do more research on it though. I would decline that drug if it were me

    Are you sure it isn't cervidil? I def heard bad things ab cytotec and didn't really hear of it being used so much anymore.

    I, personally, would avoid it. There are other options. From research I have done, it is not worth it. Too many risks. Scary scary stuff out there about it.

    Talk to your doctor about alternatives and pros and cons.

    I would never be induced with cytotec. Ask for cervidil or a Foley Bulb if you are already dilated a bit.

    I was induced with cytotec. I had no complications whatsoever and a fast and easy labor.

    I had cervidil with no problems.
