Outings with 12 week old

I'm finding it tough to be out of the house and maintain a nap schedule. My lil one doesn't really seep in the car so anything beyond a quick hr or less errand doesn't really work. It's easier if I'm alone and don't have pressure for her to be awake, then I can put her in the moby and do whatever. If we are out, I try to keep it between 10-4 so she can get a morning nap in and then wind down in the evening before bed. Just wondering how much other moms are out n how you work around napping.

If the car ride to our destination is more than 20 mins, I'll plan the outing during her nap because she would fall asleep anyways being in the car that long. We have implemented the eat, play sleep routine so it's pretty easy to know when she will be ready for a nap. If the destination is only 5-10 mins away I'll plan it for her awake time and she seems to be able to stay up in the car so it doesn't mess up her routine.
